My Journal: Monday, March 06, 2006

~Here Lord, is my first attempt at poetically arranging my words~

~In their entirety may they bless your heart and beautifully soar as open winged birds~

~In humbleness, In Spirit, I kneel before you with honest request~

~That in all my striving and my efforts, to you, I give only my best~

~With my entire being in its fullness, in every single day~

~Allow your Love to work through me, in and beyond, every fathomable way~

~Be ever present in all thought, action and word spoken~

~That each heart you’ve placed before me, will elude being eternally broken~

~I’m just one man, placed amidst billions given life on earth,~

~Yet through the shed blood of Jesus, I’ve died to self and awoke in new birth~

~Born again from such death and emptiness, into Abundant life full of Mercy and Grace~

~Allow not the wickedness presented before me, ever steal from me the endurance to finish this race~

~Such hate welled up inside peoples’ hearts, the tears flood my eyes~

~Why do we trap ourselves, so selfishly in our lies?~

~We strive after anything and everything to fill our empty souls~

~Only finding the worthlessness of such, comparing to the blackness of coals~

~Yes, I too am only human, I make my share of mistakes~

~But I want to be free and real, far from the superficiality of fakes~

~I accept and embrace such precious truth, that I am nothing without You - My Father~

~And I pray to whole heartedly remain in your Love, for anything else, may I never bother~

~Open my eyes to see the world from your view, to gaze on through your heart~

~Let your Love Motivate all I do, And Lord, from your perfect will, May I never depart~
