need a knee brace for the rest of the season. might go shopping for one today. anyone want a used right knee, seen two reconstructions and lots of abuse (eg: it`s crashed on a road gap with skis, seen avalanche action and has been hit on rails more then 6 times) I`m thinking 2euro or best offer.n so who wants it?

so I'm off to Ischgl for the inferno this weekend, should be fun. after this i'll be in austria for 3 weeks before the trip to Norway for the Roldal Freeride. wonder what the weekend will bring..............

so at the radical ride in austria i was the only australian so what happened I got chased down by crazy austrian tv crew.  the spot about the radical ride is at the end after the modelling stuff ( yes there is bikini action) and just after the snow volleyball (no, no bikini action there) it has a thing with winners from each section. skier, snowboard (mens and womens). The event is Free-ride cross, so you go down chutes, steeps moguls ice and pretty much what ever the mountain has, the course is not groomed EVER so it's getting interesting when you are in the last heat after all the skiers and snowboarders the crouse seriously worked, but still fun. I'm off to austria again this coming weekend to compete in the inferno and then on the 17th I'm off to norway for the Roldal Freeride for the big mountain event. really can't wait to shred in norway. the trip to norway is with one of the magazines here in europe so with 3 skiers 2 snowboarders it should be a good trip. what else is in the works, not doing the longboard classic as i'll be in norway, I think I have queen of the mountain on sunday (not sure can't remember I'll show up and see if anyone else is there).  heres the link for the tv spot

was ment to go touring today up on the glaicer but

I'm sore, so sore. I tried to take on a tree and yeah......trees win. my knee isn't feeling the best, bruise everywhere and thats added to the already blown tendon in my left hand. I'm doing good so far.

why do I get so pissed when I see pictures of people in Avalanche terrain with no gear (and most likely no idea). do you know what its like to lose a friend to the white dragon. have you had to dig them out and see first hand an ice mask? In 2004 I lost a childhood friend and experienced mountaineer to avalanche. Why do people still take stupid risks in avalanche terrain? do you think "it won't happen to us". this season I'm taking my level 2 avalanche operations. I make it my business to read papers on the new research that has been done around the world. knowledge is key. if you think you can't afford an avalanche beacon probe and shovel, think you can't afford to take a RAC then you can not afford to go into the back country. the odds are stacking up against you. when that fatal day hits you I pray I'm not in the SAR party that has to dig you out and then have to deal with yet another Frozen face that doesn't leave my dreams.

Go an interview on thrusday so stoked. Fingers crossed I get this job, I want it. it's mine. the only bad thing I won't be in fernie town any more :( but you know some times a change is good. so cross your fingers for me.

how good is this shi*t???? I mean it's not too offen I get all hyped up and shi*t about a cleaning product but f*ck man this shi*t rules! It makes the bath tube sparkle, the floors glissen, put in the wash with ya cloths and that wet dog smell from that mud swim is gone! knocked over a cup of coffe on the beige carpet? don't worry just chuck some borax on it and watch it soak that shi*t up f*ck wait till dry, vacum, it's gone. I love borax and the box states that it's been used for over 4000 years so that means there was rental houses with beige carpet in skitowns 4000 years ago.  yeah borax rules

well kiddies i have to say that thank god this is my last summer for what i hope is FOREVER I'm going back to back to backs (shi*t does that even make sense cause it's don't look it), screw summer give me winter!
