	what's up! not sure where your at in NY but if your near Manhattan your about 2 1/2 hours from Hunter Mountain, Windham, or Belleayre which are all up the NY thurway(87) these are great for day trips but if you can get up there during the week i recommend it cause on the weekends it gets crowded.. however, if your looking for something bigger and better go up to Vermont and check out Killington or Mount Snow. it's probably about 5 1/2 hours so plan on looking to stay up there overnight...it's been a pretty raining season without any snow so i would say look at Hunter they make a lot of snow early in the season... hope this helps you out..peace!
