So I picked up the movie + book ir77 at the start of the season. (if you haven't scene it check it out)I thought I had a understanding of the point they make of what it was like to want to snowboard more then anything. But then I relised that I only truly knew that from a summer perspective, not when I was living in the mountains and it was dumping 2 meters in 5 days but I wasn't riding, I was working. I guess that’s a little bit of sacrifice for dedication to my job here in the Heli Bizz and going home to no-snow-ontario. But those things have brought other joys to me witch made me laugh and I like that too but that just can't hit where snowboarding hits me. Yesterday (Jan 13, 07) Marked a full month of not being out on snow since my Helicopter Ride on the 12th of December. But with all of this so called "anticipation" build up made it one of my favorite days I have ever ridden. The scenario was I drove down to Kamloops with one of my co-workers Laura who is a wicked shredder. There I met up with my room mate from Panorama Wade who has had a pass at Sun Peaks for the past 2 yrs.  So he knows the mountain and the fun stuff to pop off of that makes you say weeeeee. Now there wasn't any 1080 thrown down like Craig Tholmoson can do but there was some good laughs and fun tree bonks to be had and it just made for a wicked day on my board witch didn't make up for the 30 days I missed and had to clear that 2 meters of snow with the back hoe away but it did make me greateful that I do have snowboarding in my life and relies what it means to me as some thing more then can be put in this box of letters and numbers........I love you snowboarding and please don't every leave me again for 30 days in winter.
