Head Scientist at Whiteout Films
Since I have started updating the blog, everyone is constantly asking about the many scientific references I make about our panel of scientists that we have here at Whiteout Films. They want to know if this is indeed true and if so, how they know so many snowboarding facts and if they too actually snowboard. So, today's blog is set out to answer all of these questions and to leave your doubts behind. Here is our head scientist, Marty Sampson. Marty has a PHD in Environmental Physics from U of W (University of Whistler) As you can see, he loves the shredding but still keeps it classy at all times. First of all ,notice Marty's collared shirt, properly buttoning it right to the top. You can rarely catch Marty without this look, whether he is in the lab or on the slopes. Marty is also always down to help out with second angles during film shoots, so you'll rarely see him without his trusty camcorder. Next, check out Marty's scientifically engineered all-weather pants. These pants are good in absolutely all types of weather, from rain to sun to hail to heavy snow, and classy at the same time. Marty actually invented these pants, in our laboratories I might ad. Last but not least, like any good scientist, Marty is a big fan of safety. As you can see, he has his safety leash firmly fastened and frowns upon any shredder he sees without one. We always razz Marty to get new bindings, but he swears by the 1.8 seconds he takes to get clicked in compared to the rest of us and our 4.2 seconds it takes us to strap in. Marty has stats and facts for everything, so look forward to many more scientific facts to come from our team.
