big blue or w/e needles..and to make the ear flaps, you cast on 13, knit 5 rows, then on the next row, knit 1, knit 2 together and do that untill you get 3 sts from the end and knit 2 together again, then keep doing that for a few more rows untill you're left with 3 sts. ..then cast off and well...for the strings I do this thing that I couldn't explain on here so you could just get 6 strings about 1.5 feet..(2 sets of them) and braid them together, using 2 strands of yarn as if it were one..yeah..wow..that was really long!..haha..if you have any questions about it, just ask me...hmb sometime..JC

Hey..oic..but yeah..I don't have a pattern for it but I'll just try to explain how to do it..ok..I used size 13 needles and thick yarn..cast on 40 sts, knit up about 6 inches, then knit 12 sts, knit 2 together, and do that to the end of the row, then knit one row, then knit 11 sts, and knit 2 together, then knit 1 row..just do that untill you have 11 or 12 sts left..I can't really remember..then cut the yarn so theres like 2 feet left and thread it through the stitches on the needle, then sew up the hat with the extra yarn and one of those big
