top o tha mornin to ya!

 

most people who know me know that st. pattys day is a big day for me.. usually involves taking the day off work and spending the entire day at the bar celebrating the existence of beer with my closest friends and eventually getting ourselves in quite a bit of trouble.  this year... my first living somewhere without a bunch of drinking buddies, is a little different. 

 

i had to work...

 

i have no friends who want to go to the pubs...

 

the friends i do have here want to go to a 'club'...

 

my girlfriend is busy and has to work early tomorrow...

 

i have no green suit...

 

so its not going to be the best night.. but i figured i've been here in victoria for almost three months now and i haven't been drunk since new years... i'm due.  so it won't be an ideal situation, i can't go st. pattys without a pint of the black stuff... i'm scared i'll get to the bar and they won't even have guinness... sooooo wrong. 

 

hope you all have a great one, and be sure to have a pint o guinness for me just in case i don't get to have one myself.  at least i have tomorrow off so i can recouperate if the need arises....
