so basically most insane day ever, and i love cinnamon.
got to go snowboarding last minute, was so excited, got up at five am so my roomie and i could be there at opening and leave by one to get the half day voucher. p.s. there was snow on the ground next to the freeway on the 91 and the 60, which i had never seen before. VERY cool. get a sixteenth of the way up the mountain, witness an INSANE accident and then realize we have to buy chains. very annoyed, we turn around and go waste money on cables. after dealing with snatchy people, we get the cables on and proceed to drive up the mntn. at 25 miles per hour. super long story a little shorter, we got on our first lift at 11:30. we werent about to leave at one, so we just took our time, and had SO much fun it was amazing. i rode a bunch of boxes which was a first for me so im super stoked...but then ate it HARDCORE off of a jump cause i hit it wrong and flew, flipped, twisted, whip-lashed and landed on something, only to hear and feel like 800 snap crackle pops in my neck. after realizing i wasnt paralyzed i remembered i was lying at the bottom of a jump and was probably going to be landed on, so i got out of the way, effed up my ankle and boarded on, haha. anyway, we left at like two thirty ish, the chains broke and my roomie went POSTAL and then we had in n out, which fixed everything. i wasnt even bothered by the DEAD STOP traffic we had. all in all, a good day, even though i cant hold my head up. we will see...good stuff, that snow.
