Well, its that time a year. Its starting to cool off and fall is just around the corner as we're looking for winter. Pretty soon the snow will start to fall for snowboarding and the surf should be picking up soon as well. May have to head to the lake pretty soon and catch some waves in my spare time. Not only that, but college cross country has started and its been a hella good time so far and looking to get better. Pray for snow, hope for surf, and run fast.
Well, this years board season is starting to draw to a close. I've been out 46 days and will make atleast 50 before we close. Its sucks this year though....homework that is. For so long, I had to be at word as a snowboard instructor, without being able to freeride when I wasn't teaching. I had to do my homework. Well, now that we have had exams, I'm starting to realize how much fun it is to snowboard, as before, I just wanted the place to close. I must find a way outwest at some point in time this year before they close so I can ride out there and continue working my 270 to funbox, boardslide 45 foot rail, and boardslide kinked rail. Who knows, I might work on a frontside boardslide on a C Box.

So tonight, I get to work at the hill...and what do I hear? They built a new table top. So I walk down to the lower lodge to get my gear and look at the park, and sure enough, there she is.....*splooge*....a new, 25 foot table top, smooth, strait, and big. So I finally get out there after a couple of lessons and I'd forgotten how to jump big. We'd been jumping wedges for so long, I'd forgot how to aproach em. Now, I remember why I'm a freestyle rider. Theres nothin much like scaring the shi*t out of yourself, jumping in the air, flying 25 feet down at about 10 feet in the air....*bliss*

Well that time is finally here. Snowboarding season has
officially begun for us here and it went off with a bang. Got a
sweet new park with a nice new 50 foot table top, a new C Box, and a
new 35 Foot Flat rail. We rode in about 6-8 inches of powder all
night fresh. This is going to be a great season.

Starting training for Track tomorrow. Gotta get transfered over
from XC to track. Can't wait till indoor track starts for
us. We've had an excellent XC season here winning Regionals,
Conference, County, A few invitationals, and placing 8th at
state. Now I just hope that we get the sprinters for Track to be
able to go back to the state championships there.
