About Me 

I'm a snowboard nut! I can't get enough of it. I'm in college now, so I won't get to go as much as I used to. I've been a teacher and tutor for the past ten years. I've always wanted to open my own learning center/ art studio. I'm back in college now, so I can get that going.
I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life. I've got a great man. We met in Big Bear on the lift a couple years ago.  We're crazy in love. People are always trippin on the age difference. Yeah, he's older than me. Guess what...when you find the right person, age doesn't really matter. He's hotter and in better shape than most guys closer to my age anyway!!! He's definetely not the most photogenic person, but in person, trust me, he's quite hot.
I'm blessed with a great family. My brothers and their families go snowboarding with me sometimes. I can't wait to make the newest member of my family (baby TJ) into a snowboarder!

Snowboard Rush--a poem I wrote for a class

Snowboard Rush

We race down the trail,
Picking up speed.
One hits the rail,
But I take the lead.

Hit the jump fast.
Take-off is clean.
On landing I crash.
Oh what a scene!

Shake it off fast!
No time to be dazed.
Don't wanna be last.
I'm not even fazed.

It's starting to snow.
Vision's unclear.
Still I ride like a pro.
Unwilling to fear.

I'm first to the base.
Soon the others ride in. 
Psyched, I won the race.
Now up the lift again.
