straight up everyone,
don't rip your lcl and squish your meniscus disc in your knees. not being able to ride this season is KILLING me. oh how i would like to snowboard. i did everything in my power to snowboard, i barely wakeboarded or skateboarded this summer so i wouldnt hurt it; i've probaly had about 300 dollars of physio. i've seen doctors and knee guys now i'm waiting on a call that could change this season or not. i've gotta get an mri and after that it'll determin surgery or not. surgery equals absolutly no shreddin' this year, no surgery equals more physio, gym and keeping snowboarding to a minimum. wich equals no comps or pushing myself how i'd like to. which generally equals this is going to be a lame season and i'll be sitting alone playing jacks or something. ooh what a long winter.
so question, surgery or no?
i think surgery is all around the best idea; because i need whats left of my knee seeing as how i still have quite a few years on my life that i'm going to need my knees. but winter=snowboarding=life=happiness. so into the winter if you dont find me as happy as usual you'll know whats up. because what happens when shi*t hits the fan off a rail in biggy than you twist it at a jibjam along with concussion and broken ribs? you end up having a huge weight to carry and a responsibility. i miss going for runs.

sometimes i find myself walking into the abiss, realizing that i've met some neat people in my life. some i dont really know, but i do know that they've made me laugh and kept me occupied. some others turn into my cousins and brothers so i really have a huge family on my side. alot, may simply be the coolest kids ever. i like walking into the abiss everynow and then because i like to reflect on my inner self.... yea, thats how i roll.
anyways i'm getting into trampboarding again and diving boards at the pool and making cool cork tricks to try when the winter comes. who knows, maybe i'll jib something this coming summer. maybe i'll jib a tree, or a manican. or maybe i'll commendeer a boat and go wakeboarding and tube all day long. so many choices if i must say so myself. hopefully i dont die.
i mean cause comon i got alot of things to look forward to this summer. especially those cool kids i said earlier and might i add that its friggen hot today...it must be a high of like 30*c. yes, the * represents degrees. ohh man its mad fire season. POW NOW BROWN COW

pants! pants! pants! pants!
funny nights this weekend so far..
end of season already.... it's to horrible for words. well here is the final weekend to end the season at apex. FRIDAY NIGHT rode up to the mountain with mike dean, ross buchanan and my sister. got there went and hung out at mike boot's. went out and knocked the ball off the hand sculpture with those crazy friends of mine. i can dig it! passed out on the bike game in the arcade... ohboy. haha went back to mike boot's with all the buddies then ended the night with a super swell hottub in my cloths. then ran back to joes and got perved on by old men.. shi*t DONT PHASE! haha saturday woke up to pancakes and bacon after crashin at joe's snowboarded with a big 'ol crew of sweet kids then finished off the day and went for a hottub with ava and carly. got perved on by wierd men yet again.. ahh. that night went over to harley's and got kicked out because silly joe made the neighbors upset. so we then went and hung out for endless hours at the ice rink. and thats all i remember.... huhhh. hahaha
i love lamp. and snowboarding with some of the best people i've ever known. friday arrived at silverstar expecting nothing sweet. got rained on...really had a shi*tty time in the rain. but relized, how often does that happen? also went canyoneering with the group...haha possibly peed my pants. now i get to say i did and i have a good reason. i was stuck between a river and another river in a hole. yaaa bitchesss. hahaa so i lightened up. saturday got a bit better.. first day in a month that i had zero pain in my knee. that was awesome. thanks to mike dean and ross buchanan for possibly one my greatest days of snowboarding saturday. that gully really was an experience and i locked my first frontside on the battleship! yayaaa!! called my trick in the morning and i did it. just had a really silly day foolin around in the park with those silly boys i call neat. sunday it was beautifully sunny. had a perfect line consisting of the flat down, flat down flat, battle ship and the upbox. got a good run threw on camera. tried my first handrail! biffed but it was worth it! to end the day and silverstar.... ASC did 2 of the longest trains of people i've ever seen hit an upbox rail. like woahh..
everyone in asc, we're to cool to go back to school.

most stressful day of snowboarding i've ever had to encounter. lost my videocamera amongst the handplants and beautiful snow. got a good 4 runs in then spent the rest of the day contiplating how i was going to find it and if i was going to find it. looked for it everywhere and asked tons of people but no sign. i guess it wasnt the day to snowboard seeing as how people were either mad sore or sick. so the group of people i was with kicked it in the cafeteria. wich is a'ight cuz we all gotta have our bad days. but no need to worry because the last part of the day as i was walking back to sarah's cabin with cidnee, kei, stephanie.. ava and tackles me with my camera! i mean wow how often does that happen. i was convinced one of the norweigan ski team guys jacked it. so all ends well.

16th
birthday was a travelling gongshow. hahaha first off before ava and joe even arrived we started goin. me, ross, seth, kei and cidnee got our drinks and went over to michelle's to drink away, play squatter and have a chill time. me and ross got introduced to the igloo of cool, then after a while ava shows up and me and her decide to go buy some more fun in a bottle. went down to the village and watched woody pull off his crazy fire numchucks, hung out in the village for awhile then went back to michelles. when kei lost her cellphone and me and ross decided to go look for it. with my eagle eyes we spotted it and returned to the cabin. after endless phonecalls to joe's cell we got a hold of him. kei and ava then went to find him. me and ross became brother and sister and just layed on the couch dissussing situations and what not. cidnee had to leave do to the place she was staying at but s'all good. joe arrives and everyone's happy. we got to draw on wich has gotta be the coolest snowboard now. then its about 1 am and everyones gotta leave. so we go down to the bus and get all our stuff ready... we dont sleep tho. except kei..she passed out. haha. celebrated 2 am on top of the bus. dancing away and singing happy birthday to ava. then ava gets her shotgun party drink then we had some party shots at 3. after sitting in the bus talking away. we decided to go get some warmth from the arcade. turns out it isnt open at 3. so we walked around trying the door to the lockers and the door to the hostel... that place stays open. so we go in and play snakes and ladders and watch coyote ugly. when as soon as we sat down kei passes out again. then a bit into the movie ava passes out in .2 me and joe sat and laughed about how silly this was and had a conversation with sleeping ava. and ate oranges to. at 4 we decided not a good idea to ride on 2 hours of sleep. so we woke the sleeping beauty's and brang them back to the bus. picked up 4 cones and clock on the way back. put a cone ontop of the roof and stored the others in the bus. me ava and joe doggy piled for warmth. kei just slept by herself. joe squared (me and joe) woke up at 5:40 at the same time and then had a good chuckle about how silly it is to sleep on a bus. then kei came and joined the doggy pile. yayaa! dont know if joe squared went back to sleep but ava and kei did. joe's mom awoke us at 6 and we went back to the cabin to have some breaky. muffins, cocacola and milk. mmm. johnathon, axil and kai came and rushed us on the bus. and away we went to baldy. HAD THE BEST POWCHOW DAY. man it was super. aiden got some stiches to the to the face, yaa chika your a troopa!

I'M RIDICULOUSLY SICK OF MY FRIGGEN KNEE AND ITS FRIGGEN STUPIDNESS AND NOT WILLINGNESS TO LET ME SNOWBOARD. SO NO ONE BE NICE TO MY KNEE....seriously..next time you see it...yell at it for being stupid BECAUSE IT IS. even ross says so. ya because it was all my knees fault about how ross got attacked by the fox. cuz i couldnt snowboard away BECAUSE MY KNEE IS LAME. so saturday some random people drove me and ross to the hospital and we hung out in the hospital for a good 2 and a half hours waiting for ross to get his stiches. i'll have to get those pictures up sometime in the next few days. umm because we're tuff enough to get in a fight with a fox. i dont care, do you care? i dont care. today was just a bitch day i guess. i was not impressed with my riding except for my switch 180 wich really brightened my day. and my tree bonk. but besides that i hate being at apex and not snowboarding...its just lame. and when i'm not happy at apex i get mad..right ross? ya i'm also sorry about that buddy. i still think your my favourite apexerian. 6 DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY. and on my birthday i'll finally get my 3 off the table and i wont be broken because i'm getting a new knee for my birthday. hoorah. thats a video of today from all the asc riders.

saturday:
more near death experiences then i've ever experienced in one day. mostly caused by me and ross rufiange. ooohh jeez. rode with a little bit of everybody. mostly mike deaner, ross and stu. got to ride a bit with mike mcsick...he still shredded the mad powchow like nonother. found some neato treetrails, ripped the pow, ended up on cliffs...thanks to the super skills of mike. he totally rodeo 10'd it by the way, hahaha. watched mike almost have a heart attack because he almost lost his camera if jordan wouldn't of grabbed it. keep it in the jacket man.
sunday:
didn't make first tracks on the new 10 cms of snow like i wanted, but i'm proud i rode on my 6 hours of sleep. woo. in the morning i ripped with ross, mike and kei fer a bit. then we peaced for lunch. met up with stu who pulled my chair from under me cuz he wanted it...cuz he's horrible like that. went and found the perfect backflip jump. peaced from kei so i watched stu do his "off axis" backflips. then mad powchowed down wildside for a bit. decided it got chilly on the chair so went and hung out with the triple for a bit. and we

the sickest tree trail. oohh how sweet it is. randomly decided the deep pow would be sweet to hit...so went right along and did it. found some nice goggletanning areas...worked the goggle tan. decided to become completly drained of everything so out of tiredness we bitched on the chair. and oddly caught my edge i guess going in the line to get to the triple chair 2 times. wich was wierd. and all around finished off my day with lazy falls. if you didnt rip this weekend...i feel terribly sorry for you because there was so much powchowder. it was kinkier then a quadkink c rail.

mmm finally got to ride again this weekend. soo fresh and clean. saturday was pretty chill. watched the grudge match and all those crazy kids. rode with some cool kids and just had a good time with the tree trails and powchowder. sunday was more like a freakshow i guess. rode with some of the boys, wich i really liked because i push myself more when i'm with them..so thank you men. frontsided the green and nosepressed the box. woo. got but raped by the moby dick. hit up the rainbow for the first time....gunna need a bit more speed i suppose. cleaned the kink for the first time. woot. so it was a good welcome back rail day.

hokay; so there's this comp... the jibjam. last night i was all stoked on it and just given er and fallin and gettin up and doin it again. i had a few good runs threw, then i met my friend the c (who really shouldn't be my friend anymore). the c decided to kick my ass and it rocked me. cuncussion, torn muscles in my neck ETC ETC. i'm hurtin but i'll get over it. pain is temporary, glory is forever..somethin likethat. not to mention i look like death. oh and i ripped my pants. mehh.

today is an exciting day, i've been accepted into the team fluorescent shred unit. because when devin says git r done...yer gunna git r done. next weekends big plans include a day in the life of an army men super glued to a helmet, learnin to huck my 3's and finishin 'er off with the jibjam. you all better be at the jibjam cuz i am stoked that its not just for skiers. be there yo. so you better watch out fer team flo at the jibjam, cuz it's the only way to go. westernfront jibjam was crazy fun. so many kids came out just for the love of night riding with rails. the jam was 2 hours long, snowboarders and skiers alike were killing it on the rails. tons of spectators came out to and the night was filled with smiles, prizes and cheers. congrats to everyone who went in it... keep the shred alive.
