Ahhh! I'm moving in t-28 days. Eek. If I'm going, it's out with a bang fo sho.
What a great weekend I had! I drove out to StJOhns by myself on Thursday, it was beautiful out! I love driving by myself, I get much needed quality time with music and my own thoughts. 6 hours later I land in StJohns, had the best time, even went in a recording studio with an awesome punk band from there... and I sang! Wow! GOt news today, that'll I'll be moving to StJohn's effective September! I got a seat in the Fast Track BN program out there, so I'll graduate a year earlier! Stellar! So yea, I'll be living in Sin City(how appropropriate) I guess I'll move out in July... crazy... finally out of CB....
hot damn, I am so happpppyyyy!!! I had the most terrible school week ever, exam after exam after seminar after exam.... "shoot me NOW!" was my favorite saying all week... but it's finito now, mext week is pretty chill, one exam, then the following week I have 3 finals. But before that I'm going to be kickin it in StJohn's... can you say "Junctions?"
OH yes, Today was da shiz... here's da story...
great day, hit Marble at 10:30, kicking it, having a blast, came down through the park as always, hit the rail at top, slid off, hit the ridge of ICE alongside it, chin IMPACT against it, and face proceeds to slide down the ice ridge. I now have 2 chins, and very puffy face. Not good. Took some more fun runs after that, hit the rail again, it cannot defeat me.
Lesson Learned: Cute looks are destructible and sketchy rails on spring days = Hella sketchy rails.
It's the first day of SPRING! YAY! It's gettin' warmer, which means ERin's most likely not in school...

Funny I was out riding with a friend today. We were talking about the season, past season, our progress, and we came to the conclusion that this season has been such utter garbage since Feb, that we cannot wait for Spring, for consistent warm, summy days, when the snow's soft and the rays are beatin' down... I've been waiting silently since Feb, but just didn't say anything b/c I didn't want to be an ingrate. ANyhow, nice to know that someone else felt the same way. Alot of people dread the onslought of spring as it symbolizes the beginning of an end... meanwhile I crave it, not the end but the conditions...
how much do i hate writing research papers... let me count the ways.
K, everything back on track... school---check, work(working on it)---check, everything in order. I have to keep things in perspective cause I have a habit of losing focus when things get crazy.
I wish we had snow... well we do have snow, but no new snow... just old gnarled up crap that's essentially ice. I am amped to ride everywhere else but here... As I predicted, with the elimination of the park manager, our park has gone down the crapper. SO sad.

This life just keeps getting better! I'm heading to MOntreal next wednesday, soend some time with my main man, and check out the trade show! Good times! The snow situation here is skeptical... I'll get to check out tremblant and others, so thas cool.
Yea I'm a slacker! I was crazy busy all week, a friend came in from Montreal and we did a bit of shooting,lol... who knows maybe I'll be in the next Snowboard Canada mag... lol.. Anyhow local news, the morons at Marble Mountain, particularly the administration, fired the best thing to ever happen there. They canned Kev Vincent, who basically put snowboarding on the map in this city, has so much expeerience managing parks/pipes and is known all over Canada and they canned him!!!! Go figure! Idiots. ANyhow, later!

Just got back from a serious excursion in the tablelands, part of Gros Mourne National Park. What an amazing New Years! We snowshoed in on the 30th, up-up-up about 5km (crazyness)to this beautiful cabin. It was such a blast! Nest day we hiked up this ridge called Peakateany Reef (have no idea where the name came from) which was about 1700 meters elevation from our basecamp, the weather was pretty overcast and it was snowing so we couldn't see all that much, but you could look over the egde of the ridge and it was hella high! On the way back down with jumped through all the pow pillows in the woods, at one point I jumped and went up to my neck in snow. Thankfully the guys hauled me out!!!New Years was stellar! MY best one to date! Drank a flask of Baja Rosa and a flask of vodka, sooo drunk! There was about 17 of us, so it was madness!!! ANyhow, the trip was phenomenal! The amount of snow up there was sick! how I wished i brought my snowboard, but I already was carrying a 35lb pack, any more gear and i wouldnt have made it...
I'll be posting pics throughout the next week so keep your eyes open...

K, for those of who who've hit my profile, I sincerely apologize that I've been rude and not written back. My brain is a wasteland of useless pharmocological, pathological facts (i think there's a bit if business in there too) I got one exam done today, I killed it. Cna't say I'll do the same for the others but I'll try. I've got too much shit going through my head, snow, boys, snow, school, snow, work, snow, feb2003, snow, parties, snow, shoveling it, snow, ex-bf's, snow... jesuz, No rest for the weary! ANyhow. LOw key for a few mroe days then I'M FREEEEEEE!
