what is the difference between HD and HDV?
what is better 2.96mp or 6.1mp? do mega pixles help with video quality?
if it is HD does that mean you can only film HD or can you change a setting and shoot in a normal mode?
do they both take pretty good pictures?
do they have decent battery life in any weather condition?

im wanting to get into snowboard filming, problem is i dont have a camcorder... any suggestions on a video camera between $500 - 1100. Should i get a mini dv, hard disk or one of the hd camcorders? would you suggest sony, canon or pansonic? im thinking about getting the sony HDR SR12 with a wide angle or fisheye lens to get started with. just hit me up if you got something in mind. |
