Had a 3 day weekend and got the invite from a friend to come visit...so I couldn't refuse. It was a blast and loved it while I was there, met awesome people and partied very hard. I tore the buttons off one guys shirt...that's the epicness.

So I had hoped it would be a sunny bluebird day for riding and it kind of was...clouds came in a couple times during the day. Morning was packed with people but by afternoon they were in the parking lot drinking or had taken off. I drove down with my friend Pete and had hoped to meet up with Riderspro and xKellyx while there...but low and behold...missed them all day long!

So Steamboat is a year round resort...which means a lot of people fly in that only ski/ride a couple times a year. These people happen to keep their one-pieces and wear them!

I had 10 days off from work and even though flying would have been cheaper, quicker and less time...i had to drive back to washington to collect the rest of my stuff. After Washington, I drove to California to visit family there and then made the drive back to Colorado. I had a great time with friends and family but damn i'm glad to be home.

So my first year of attending SIA made me want a lot of new gear this year. Then demoing a lot of boards made me decide to upgrade some gear, pass my old gear onto friends for free and basically start fresh. So this is all the new gear i'm acquiring for the 06-07 season.

Loveland 11-120-06 Demo Day! (6 photos)

Copper Opening Weekend Nov 4&5th (10 photos)

Spent the weekend down at Copper to ride both Saturday and Sunday. Had an awesome time riding and hanging out at a hotel with a pool and bar inside...yay!

Loveland 10/22 Pre-season shredding (11 photos)

Headed south to Loveland, two runs open and 1 chairlift running. Was able to find some closed areas with 1-2 ft of powder! Made fresh tracks with some rocks underneath but nothing too damaging. Had an awesome day with friends riding!

Found out the evening before the A-Basin would open Friday the 13th so gathered up our Steamboat crew to head down south to go ride some pre-season rocks. Only 1 run open with 1 chairlift and it was a blast. Here's some pictures of our journey.
