russki1 has created a new forum topic Boots for skinny people??. Posted 5 days ago
I have size 10 feet sneakers and size 11 skater/padded, pretty narrow feet and ankles.

I currently have a size 9 dialogue, got it extra tight. Any every time I do spins I have crazy pains at the end of the day in my ankles and hips.  Like today I am sore cant even lift my left foot.  But I grant that to beginning of the season.

When spinning or bailing it feels like my feet are twisting inside the boot, and the inner part is always turned a bit on the rear foot.

Any recommendations for boots made for narrow feet, I remember hearing Nitro was good for this.

PS: The lacing on the Dialogues sucks balls, always gets loose.

When buying a used board from somebody online what are some of the things that you should look out for/questions you should ask?

russki1 has created a new forum topic Capita Indoor Survival 153 or 156? [145lb, 6']. Posted on Nov 18, 2009
So I found a used 2008-2009 Capita Indoor Survival for $275 its 156
And I found a once used 153, 2010 (i think http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-other-Indoor-survival-snow-board-W0QQAdIdZ157158479) for $350.

Which board do you think would suit me more, as this is my first snowboard from a beginner board (149, LTD board I had since I was a kid) and where I live there is mostly hills as opposed to mountains. Would mostly take it on beginner park, half pipe, groomers, powder, all-round pretty much without those huge mountains.

russki1 has created a new forum topic Park/Freestyle board. for 6'0, 150 lb rider. Posted on Mar 17, 2009
Im currently riding a 149 LTD Limited (or something), its a beginner board that about 4 years old.  I got Rome 390's and salomon dialogues this year.  Iv taken that LTD board down the mountain, over ice (horrible edge), through the park s-m kickers and rails/boxes.   I ride 15/-15 and even to both sides (not leaning back).

I would say I'm an intermediate rider, can carve straight down the hill on squares and diamonds, and ride switch down squares but not as fast.  Beginner in park.

Im looking to upgrade to something that will have nice pop, and can be used for the regular freestyle through some glades and down the mountain. Preferable something that will hold its edge on ice somewhat, I hate slipping in the park on ice patches.

I look at the Horrorscope, Darkstar, Rome Agent, some NS board, and others but I forgot the names.  Any tips on what board to consider, and the length to get?

russki1 has created a new forum topic 09 Dialogue, Inner Lace crooked. Posted on Mar 16, 2009
I got a pair of 09 Dialogues this season, rode them for maybe 15 days.  The inner lace on both the boots is crooked, and it slips out easily, after a few runs, especially with butters and 180's I notice the rear foots lace becomes undone way too easily and the inner coshin stacks on top of itself.

Also the strings to tighten them are sideways, the little flap you pull is way off to the side.  Anyway to fix this?

russki1 has created a new forum topic Soaping goggles for anti-fog. Posted on Jan 19, 2009
Rubbing the cheap most-basic soap on the inside your goggle lenses prevents them from fogging.  Just smudge it over, don't wet it obviously.

Curious?  Axis and Allies used this on their gas masks to prevent the lenses from fogging.  Just hope you have enough time to rub the soap before the gas kicks in.

russki1 has created a new forum topic Rome 390, Targa, or Salomon Chief/other Salomon FOR size 9 Dialogue?. Posted on Jan 17, 2009
I am riding on a LTD board (beginner) and bindings that I got for cheap back in the day, with size 9 salomon dialogues.  My bindings are complete shit, my back foot when im riding regular always moves around, I once wiped out and the foot ended up almost sideways in the binding.  :|

I heard that the Romes fit tight, and that I should go for the L/XL bindings for the Salomons.  I want to just ride all around, learn how to do kickers and some rails.  Im leaning more towards the Rome 390's over the Targas because they are more forgiving as I have read on here.

I visited a local shop and the guy didn't have Romes but he recommended Salomons because they fit well with a Salomon boot, something along the lines of Salomon Chief?  I want my bindings to be versetile because next season I want to try Nitro boots as I hear they fit narrow ankles well, I still get some minor heel lift in my dialogues.
