A poem by Reverend Tucker I am Jesus Brother/Sister Jesus was a Jew God was Jesus Father That makes me one too I’m a Jesus Jew Jesus is my Brother Jesus says what’s true I follow his example WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? Mary was his mother Mary was his wife Neither knew that one day They’d see Him end His life Jesus other Father Joseph was his name Joseph was a Carpenter by trade and taught his son the same. When God called Jesus home one day As Sacrifice for Man He left a message loud and clear That he would come again He did come back, He rose again Just like he said he’d do And then He climbed to Heaven above To save both me and you From God’s own Throne The waters flow and on the banks beside The trees of life grows bountiful Too beautiful to hide It’s for the people now you know For those who still abide Within god’s laws to love and share There’s no more need to hide God’s City will descend to Earth It’s walls will reach up high It’s gates are open all the time Always a lighted sky God’s children live within the walls The garden they do keep Their Brother Jesus lives with them To guard them in their sleep I am Jesus Brother/Sister Jesus was a Jew God was Jesus Father That makes me one too I’m a Jesus Jew Jesus is my Brother Jesus says what’s true I follow his example WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
