The Remarkables Ski Area

Location: QueenstownNZ

General Info
Remarks is promoted as the ski field for families so you get a lot of that there. It’s not too bad, but it can get pretty busy during the peak of the season. The snow can be a little better then Coronet Peak and it’s much better if you’re up for some hiki

Ticket Info
The cheapest way to get up the mountain is of course with a season pass. If you get in early and buy a full NZSki pass before the 10th of March it’s only NZ$499, after that it jumps up to NZ$649 and then by the time the season starts it goes up to NZ$1599

I agree, I was there in 2004 season and the park was pretty damn good, always maintained and allways grommed. If you are up for a short hike the alta lake chutes are awesome on a powder day!!

the terrain park is not crap at all, in fact its pretty f*ckin decent! and they now have a fairly nice superpipe as well. It's a great place to ride, check my profile for a shot of some of the gnarlier terrain on offer
