Snowbasin Ski Area

I love basin. People say that you run into huge crowds, but as a three-years season pass holder, the only days when you might have to wait under two minutes in line at the BOTTOM is on weekdays after a snowfall. Holidays can get a bit crazy, but I usually stroll right onto the lift from my car on weekdays. Even on bad days, needles is the only lift that stacks up significantly, and once you get over to strawberry, the lines dissapear. John paul usually has no lines at all, even on holidays.

Great mountain (especially for those of us in the Ogden area).  This is my regular mountain (read: season pass).  I hadn't been here since the late 90s before I moved out here this season.  It's busier now than before, but there are many upgrades since then (lifts and amenities) as well...and the crowds still don't compare to the bigger name places.  Not as high of an elevation of the resorts in the Cottonwoods (which has caused some rain/slush problems during abnormally warm storms in December), but I love the place for what it is and its advantages over more mainstream resorts...

An extremely fun resort. Probably one of the first resorts to open, and on the the ones to close last. HUGE modern resort with awesome runs, thought they make a lot of snow. Sometimes crowded, but hit it up if you get the chance.
