Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington, US
General InfoCrystal is OPEN. Check
www.skicrystal.com for all the juice. They just installed a brand spanken new lift that allows access to the once difficult to get to North Backcountry. Ticket prices have jumped to $58 for a full day adult as a result.
Crystal is still Washington's largest resort, with 11 lifts. And yet one of the only ones to not jump in to the spirit of snowboard culture... why you ask? No park, bad up-keep of the pipe when it's going, and how Crystal Mtn managment allows the ski racing organizations to invade whole runs just because there have been 2 locals become Olympic contenders.
