Hey if you're looking to get a job at Kicking horse then you would probably be better off moving to Golden, BC.  The drive from Calgary is about 3 hours.  SAme with Sunshine in Banff or at lake Louise... They're at a least a 2 hour drive from Calgary.  You can always look into places to stay in Canmore which is a 15 minute drive to Sunshine and there's a little village at Lake Louise that you could live in.

As for employement check out the mountain's websites.  They're always looking for people but I would apply now if I were you.

I've actually just moved to Calgary in October and after visiting Vancouver and Whistler I'd like to move out there.  One thing you HAVE to do is fly to Whistler at least once.  It's such a good time and that's where the sb.com offices are :D.

if you're planning on living in Calgary it'll be easy to find a job. There's a milion of them out here.  Check out http://jb-ge.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/ it's a good website to find jobs and most of them you can apply through email.

hey hey.  You're in luck cuz Kicking horse happens to be my favorite mountain in the area.  It's got 3 sweet sweet bowls tho I've only ridden one of them.. the other two are for better riders then me hahah.  The bottom of the mountain is not so great but the top part has an insane amount of powder and lots of tree runs.  If you're planning on riding there all season I'd go on their website and buy the early bird seasons pass.  It's a pretty decent price for what you get.

Also if you're planning on dropping by Sunshine or Lake Louise a couple of times you could always get the Sunshine/Lake Louise Card and you get your first and 4th ay free so it's worth it.  When are you heading out this way???

hey andrew hows it going
golden in amazing, its sad that the seasons almost over, its been one of epic porportions.  Finding a place in golden took me a while but i was with 3 other people so that made it a bit tricky, as far as finding a room, check the message boards out side grocery stores and coffe shop the main ones are (overwaitia, IGA, jitas and the mohawke) and you can also make an add for your self and people will call if their looking for roomies.  Finding work shouldnt be to hard. id apply end of october november some time. the mountain probly wont open till december. any more questions just let me know. id definatly recommend it though, this mountain has really sick terrain and there is alot of sweet back country that acessable from the resort its self.
have a good one.
