australian season done and dusted

My Blog: Monday, October 01, 2007

so, the season has ended. it went out all weird like too. had been sunny and perfect for so long and then the last week it got cold, rained and the wind blew like god was pissed at us. so we couldn't ride for the last 5 days of the season. sucks too, cuz elle and i were amped to film on the big flat down 15 meter (45+ feet) rail as well as some of the other shi*t that we had scope out. its always weird when you expect to ride again and then you don't. we usually know when its our last day and we get our brains wrapped around it, but not this season. oh well, park city opens in exactly 6 weeks. guess i'll just spend this time editing vid for the new film. holla!

	hey hey. Yeah, using my PhD. Being paid a shi*t-load to travel to Vancouver to design the Athlete's village next canadian winter. Can't complain, but I will only be staying at falls as a gaper/punter :( never the less... I'm hoping that you and the hobbit don't disown me for selling out, and perhaps I'll rock up for a lesson or three some weekends and request one of you guys for a private... then we can just go rock it Catch you soon!!

	what day is Brighton officially open? i cant get any info when calling and nothing on their web site either. im for sure going this weekend. just a matter of having someone to watch the kiddos. but it will be done, im not passing it up. ive been waiting too long and my new board needs to be deflowered. are you instructing up there this year too? i tried to get on as a mountain host but almost everyone came back from last year so no go on that one. i just have to find another way to get a pass, thats all. thanks on the pics and kids. my oldest is itchin to start riding. took him to the rail jam at the delta center and hes hooked. talk to ya later.
