I know I know, this place gets hundreds of posts like this everyday. However, I like to get a full spectrum of thoughts and opinions before I buy anything.
First off I have to buy whatever I can find for end of season deals. I'd love to wait for next years lineup but I'm buying a house and need to save my cash.
So I'm 5'7 around 145lbs wear a 8.5 boot. I'm usually an all mountain girl with some freestyle and was getting into the park till I tore the cartilage in my knee in January (damn Loveland). I'm currently borrowing a Morrow 154(cheap) and shorter boards are fun but didn't work out so hot on the steep(see injury above) I feel most comphy on a 151.
I had no probs figuring out which binding I wanted and got a killer deal on '09 burton escapades(thank you ebay). Still have to get new boots, mine are worn out (hole in the side).
Now I need a deck
My first choice is the Never Summer Infinity - R 151, however cannot find a 151 in the black top sheet(hate white anything) and next years graphic is soooo not me
Second is the K2 Duchess 151, can find it for about 279. This board has good reviews.
Third is RIDE Promise 151, i can buy this at my local shop (MSO) for about 229 cannot find any real reviews on this board but the specs seem good and hear the slimewalls are nice
Any other suggestions? One gal at MSO also suggested the K2 Fling in a longer size but I know it's mostly a park board.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
