I knew it wouldnt be perfect
but did it have to stay the same
one more little mistake
and again I am to blame

the screwed up reason for your departure
left me feeling so very cold and dead
never clinging to hope that we could prospure
embracing hollowness within instead

and what if it is all my fault
will this blood fix all the problems
alleviate the nothingness
save me from indifference

no, I didnt think so
once again you represent the evil side of me
the only side anyone sees anymore
lick the filth off the floor and come back for more

pretending you don’t care just to make yourself look cool
trying to be sane when all you do is act like a fool
never having the right words to say
never communicating anything, anyway

Never made it much far from me
Held it up against the light to see
Nothing’s gonna change till eternity

Sometimes I wish I was just like everyone else
Here I just hide myself where no one can tell
I care so much yet I don’t care at all
Used to be up high but I knew I’d have to fall

So here I am
Lying here still
No reason to die
No reason for thrill

I have become the very thing I hate
No point to alleviate
Do not worry for me, it is too late
I cannot stop this now
I cannot pull this apart
I have gone too far
Nothing, no one can heal this scar

These feelings I get, they control me
They build up inside with nowhere to flee
I’m afraid I may no longer be
Almost as if I can see through my skin
Finally realize there is nothing within
No, no I can’t stop this now
‘Cause you are no longer here to pull me down

You cannot stop me now
