you know this whole recent spate of politriks carnage was interesting in that it teased some kind of resolution.

 

cusano then came and did what i had honestly hoped would have occurred some time back; and pulled in the reigns a little.

 

i was sure that despite the flames, no lasting offence was really being caused.  as loathesome as racist views (for what ever intent) might be, when they are aired in here, they stay in here.  when you log out, its gone.  game over, life continues.

 

however, i must say, that certain individuals, who suddenly gain the grapes to chastice one and all for shi*t they have never had the inclination to contribute to in the past, decide to lay down their law, to judge us without considering context and even resorting to moments of ego defensive flame themselves..... i gotta reckon, f*ck it.

 

it is one thing for a deluded racist to keep on doing what he has been doing for months for the sole purpose of obviously getting a rise out of the rest of us; we learn to expect it and even perversely gain some entertainment from it

 

but when a virtual newbie (to a particular thread) arrives and starts beating his chest, as if some kind of authoritarian mod badge affords him such luxury, i gotta reckon shi*t ain't what it used to be.

 

i am pissed off, coz i actually feel pissed off.  and i don't come in here for that.
