One more hour to go before i head off to gate C14 at KLIA.

It has been a good fortnight; one of initial uncertainty; going to Borneo with little more than plane tickets can make you wonder what the hell is gonna happen.....

in the end, we met the fine people of Scuba Junkies in Semporna and enjoyed 33 dives over 11 days!  Now i really do need a vacation, and thankfully with the cost being about 16 quid per dive, my Visa is safe to pay for another day!

lots of sharks and too many bloody turtles in one of, if not THE best dive site in the world, of Palau Sipadan.  The trigger fish were a bit feisty tho, one of whom took a few chunks out of my fins!  (until i offered up my arse for it to sink its teeth into instead;  dehli belly makes for a great deterrent!)

and now having milked every last ringett out of this Plaza Premium Lounge, i embark on 13 hours of knee cramped boredom.  we got bulk-head seats tho, and being awake for 28 hours now, should help ensure i snore as we zoom over India and Whatsit-stan until touching down in Heathrow.

tonight will be pizza night!  damn i now hate rice and noodles; especially fried!  i must confess, the first port of call on getting back to civilisation was McDicks!  damn my hankering for a seasame seed bap!

ciao y'all.  jet lag permitting, i'll be harrasing you politrikal types once more on Monday morning.

tropical pics to follow....

now where's that bog...? the cramps are returning!

well you poor buggers will have to get by without me for a while....

i am off to the wilds of Borneo, where i hope to take some nice fotos of Tiger Sharks and any other elasmobranchiomorphii that happen along....

assuming no Chimp in Chief blows us all up, the sharks aren't too feisty and the sting rays lie content with their recent death tolls.... i will be back well rested and ready to ruck by the end of the month.

enjoy y'all, don't drink to much and bring on the wintah!

NEW YORK -- A school teacher was arrested today at John F.
Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement.  He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a problem for us," Gonzales said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.  They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

When asked to comment on the arrest, George W. Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

Aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the President."
