So at Hood you can ride up until September can't you? Don't you have the longest snowboard season at like 9 months? I have to admit, 6 months of the year spoils me, but even more, that's like my idea of heaven.

Hey!!!

Sorry I didn't return your call. I was in MIchigan for the long weekend, and I didn't know what a good time to call would be.

I have to work this week everyday, but I may have a weekday off next week. possibly thusday and friday, and I don't have the thrusday commitment next week, so It might be my best cahnce of getting out to helen's midweek... I'll let you know which days I am getting off when I find out..

If you have an opening and want to go for it without me, I wouldn't blame you...I don't want you to miss out becasue of my wacky schedule..

hey man!  What's happenin?

I'm still game for hitting St. Helens, if you are. It looks like we may be able to make this a mid week thing. I have been working 4- 10 hour days, and they want me to do a few saturdays, SO I may be able to swing a mid week day off sometime. When where you thinking of heading up? How loose is your schedule midweek incase I find out at the last minute I may not be working? ANy other info?

I know there is the permit issue, but it seems like a midweek permit won't be too hard to grab. hopefully it wont be a problem.

ANyhow, hope everything else is going good. talk to you later,
scott

Likewise!! I had a good time. I'll keep in touch and let you know my schedule as soon as I find out. hopefully I'll be able to swing some midweek days off again. I had a pretty rough time staying awake on the ride home.

Hey snowolf, I wasn't by an means trying to rip apart your spinning technique, I didn't know it was meant to be off bumps because I just skimmed through it, now that I know it makes sense. I did post spinning techniques like you suggested as a seperate topic but don't know how to pin it and am afraid it will get lost. Do you know how to pin topics? Also, please check it out and tell me what you think.

'twas a nice SR71 story.....
(i would've replied in there, but that threads been jacked enuff!)

i was lucky enuff to see an SR71 flying at an air show one year.  it was cycling the display arena with a B1 and a B2.

a gorgeously clear summer's day;  you could see the planes as they flew their huge circuit;  i watched the SR all the way round (even tho it was the B2's first public outing in the UK) and on the final pass it notched Mach 1 right in front of us.

all you could hear was jaws hitting dirt as the SR became a dot, as everyone knew it wasn't even trying.  mad speed!
