Yep here on Vancouver Island (and on the mainland coast too) we barely get any snow at all. Very very mild climate. I know when people think Canada they think snow... but nope, not for me! Hey don't worry about it man, better late then never eh. I was wondering where ya got to though. I nominated you for coolest member on the awards.. don't you feel special now. Haha :) But you are cool though! Yes, actually I worked (abet briefly) with a woman who lived in Hawaii and she commented upon the difficulty of finding a half decent place to live. Well I hope you don't end up paying out your nose for some dump! Moving makes me nervous as well. Its hard to do it from a distance, stressful too. Especially if you're worried about a place to live! So how long till you take off? Man you must be excited eh!

Yeah man, I agree, don't know how I manage to read your posts either! :P Actually that's not true but I ain't going to massage your ego any more...

...as for images of the russian dude out of Rocky - it's funny but other people sometimes make a similar assumption - thing is my name is the Irish version of the original Germanic moniker...and I'm half English, half Chinese with a little bit of Scots so lord only knows what that means!

well, that's kinda funny in a way, as I'm about to approach a crossroad in my life, and I have no clue which way to turn. I'm looking to relocate and also hopefully spend a season snowboarding somewhere in 2005.

I gotta say though your posts sure are different from anyone else's. I was always fascinated as to how you seemed to present so much information in almost any argument, and it's always been great to read.

it's a little hard to explain, as I'm not quite sure what lays ahead nor are all the avenues clear to me yet, I guess it mainly comes down to where I choose to relocate, or whether I decide to remain where I am for a another few years.

and where do you get your information from in these threads do you just apply your extensive knowledge or research a little?

hehe thanks, it's not in my neurons unfortunately no, just that I had sometime ago studied a little about the crusades and some more about the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Dansute I thought made an excellent point about looking further beyond recent history,
so I tried to recall what I could from memory and then refer to some books and use a search engine to try to put it all together, I thought it might help the thread somewhat if we had a history of what leads us to the current day.

I'm very glad you liked it, thanks.

Dude - just wondering if you're confusing me with chris in the George Bush Resume thread - I don't want to come across like an arse on there so I'm doing it here...haha.

Well, as always, very interesting reading your views...trouble is I've got too little time to take part much in the discussions these days so I'll leave you to it.

Well look at you mr.smarty pants..here you are telling me you aren't good at languages.Phh:)Well it sounds like ya had a good long weekend then!My belly is good regarless of a horrifying run in with some sketchy chinese food. I'll make myself feel ill again just talking about it.YUCKIE! I've been indulging my fair share in those ethanol bevies you speak of. I went on a little road trip to this town I used to live in and met up with some friends..good times! Made up for lost time!My friend and I got away for a bit just sat on my favorite beach in the whole world and drank a bottle of wine.I love Tofino because it just epitomizes the "wild west coast"..sitting on this amazing sandy beach that goes on for miles, waves crashing, crazy wind, surrounded by huge beautiful wind swept trees. One of the best places on earth.Add in a bottle of wine and some fantastic conversation it was a day to be remembered!Seriously at some point in your life you should come here. You'd love it!

Ah you will be in Vancouver eh. Well I suppose it is relatively close to me. About an 1 1/2 hour ferry ride and another hours drive. Ohhh spanish class eh. Fun Fun. You know there are just some people who have the brain for other languages and pick them up quite easily??!! WEll... that's not me. Speaking French up here is quite useful.I've decided next summer I'm going to do an exchange program to Québec. It's about 5 weeks long and you live in this town with a family and then take french classes during the day with a bunch of other university students.
It's so gross and rainy here right now, blah. My only duty today is keep an eye on the foal. His mommy stepped on his foot and now he has a bit of an infection in his leg. So he needs to be checked every hour or so.. just to make sure he's still perky! Anyway, hope the spanish is coming along nicely and everything else is fabulous. JESS:)
Haha by the way, nice new mug.. it does scare me a little bit though i must admit :)

Ok first of all. That bunny and kitty in your gallery. Those are the cutest f*cking things EVER.

ooh Spain that sounds fun! Too bad ya didn't get the chance to do that.
I'm not too involved with the horsies anymore. I was until university then I sold my horse. Between working and school I didn't have nearly the time. My youngest sis is big into it now. So her and my mams are the horsie gals. We've got 5 horses now (including the baby) Don't ask me why they need that many. My moms always likes to be down there playing with them and doing horsie things in her spare time. So ya, my parents really do have quite the menagerie at their house. I guess I kind of grew up on a farm. Country gal right here. Woot woot. haha.

Looking for a freakier mug eh. That might be hard to do. I find the cat quite scary!

So anything new and exciting happening on your end? School good?
