Hey Ali,
I am going to be completely honest with you. The riding in Connecticut isn't all that great but VT is an easy day trip. As far as the people from Connecticut, most of them are pretty cool. Once in a while you will run into someone who is a complete asshole but not too ofter. What part of CT are you going to move to?

hey bud, well ct is not well known for good boarding. But there are good mountains within a few hours Vermont and New Hampshire and Maine all have tight mountains that are great for boarding. Some people can be cool, others can be stuck up rich pricks, but you can figure them out fairly quickly. I live in New Hampshire now, where i grew up. hmb about how u like ct, pz ~Sarah

hey! hmm, what can i say about connecticut? its a good place, kind of faced pace and probably home to the worst drivers, lol. there are good hills if u know where to look and last year the snowfall was pretty good and spaced out...it was a long season and im hoping for the same this year! even if we dont have the best slopes, there are a lot of good ones only a couple hours away. the only prob is its rare to ride nice powder and slopes usually get icey at night cuz the temp drops so much. other than that, its a really nice place to be and towns for the most part are small with the cities in between for some night life! hope u enjoy it over here! ~Jess

Whats up bro. I agree with the english chick Ct sucks pretty good in all respects unless u skateboard. It snows alot and the hills we have in CT suck 500 feet elevation or so tops. But we have a couple mountains within 1-4hours that are pretty nasty. I ride Sundown which is pretty hot for a CT mountain and is groomed for boarders with a park, its in New Hartford if u want to check it out. And the cities/towns are small but I live in college town (Uconn)so summers are dead (tons of skate spots) but winters all the people come and make it a party town. But for the most part people are ASSHOLES but some aren't. Hope this helps keep in touch if your in my town area I'll show u around. Peace bro.

Yeah, I have to disagree with the girl below me. While the conditions are nothing great and the slopes are more like hills, there are definitely places to board if you know where to look. And the towns don't suck... they're just small and really friendly, for the most part. At least mine is. What part of Connecticut are you going to be in?
