Haha yah sorry it wasnt such a usefull post though lol well anyways gooday everyone, i dont think i have posted in fja for a WHILE, um new stuff with me, im in school at st mathews taking Civics and Sie, learning the ways of the government and the ways of elements lol, in june im moving to whitby, just moved my sister into the new place this past weekend oh and she just got married a few months ago. I live alone now in cornwall i nthe house and will untill i move up to whitby, pretty fucking boring being that most of my friends are all at uni BASTARDS!, also im planing on moving to whistler for feb-april and looking for a place to stay so if you got a place a need a roomate let me know! i guess thats about it, oh and hey for those of you that remember, i broke my wrist awhile back and like 3 days ago showed a doctor and dosent understand how im still able to move it haha it was a pretty awesome conversation.

hell ya! I have been riding fresh powder for the past 3 weeks and it is snowing again today! 134inches so far this season and counting. And for the 5 guys to every one girl situation equaling me having to work harder to get laid(pretty much not happening at alll just getting wasted as a substitute to it) i have been saed this week with College week! tons of girls who can't ride or ski so they just head out to the bar and party at night, I just have to stop heading out to early and getting trashed and I'm set.

there is certainly a large group of requests to be a part of FJA lately. Ahh, so i just returned from whistler. had a blast, as usual. drank lots, did some riding, saw a bit of the comp., dressed up like a country club bum. on my return home...some fu-ck off ran me off the road and i almost died. really completed the weekend. now im back to the same ol day to day stuff. hope everyone is having a marvelous week, i'll check back in later.

did i mention a mouse has apparently moved in to my house? it won't go in any of the numerous traps i have out for it. it will run across the hallway in broad daylight. damn beast doesn't even have the decency to be afraid of the dog. and now i seem to have acquired an angsty teen as well. wonderful.

Ok i'm finally posting in here...it is an invite only topic, so for those who haven't been invited by a member that was here before the new version, then sorry it's invite and after the invite, it's by voting for you. We only want people who fit in, not those who just want a place to tell their life story...there's other places for that. Our FJA crew is people who get along for the most part and are able to tell personal stories. I know for a fact latinarider put in time and effort and has been reading and knowing about FJA long into version 1, so i would nominate her. I think she would fit in well and has online/offline personality. Everyone else, i see as needing to wait a while. While i know some of you from the forums, i think it's too early for you to be in FJA...especially since a LOT of you seem to want in right now but have never before. I'm not trying to insult people, but i wanna see the old FJA crew post in here before we nominate more than 1 person to join. Having 4 or 5 new members at one time, seems like too much and would in my mind take over the old school FJA crew that is in here now. On a personal note, things are busy at the mtn working and riding full time. Made some changes in life and they seem to be for the better. Looking forward to Christmas time and spending it with my hot boyfriend and my family.

Ah, Christmas trees and house pests, we have both. California is land of the ants right now, that's my big gripe about Cali in the winter, the ants from hzell, they freak me out. I can't even get over how many of them can get together all at once, it's scary. They could actually form a person and slap me around if they wanted to. Went with the kids to cut down our own tree, I talked it up for days, about how it's back to the basics and all that, and then I completely bonked when I was trying to cut the tree down. Classic moment of me feeling old, with the kids getting all bored whiled I inhaled all the air in a one mile square radius.. Good times. Nice to see you Shay, *cough* you never write......MPD I really hope we get to kick it in SLC.

the only person i will nominate and give a yes vote to would be latinarider, everyone else should wait until the new version has been up for a while and fja is fja again. We need to see the regular members back in here, mish, G, christofski, konk, teresa and others...before we put to vote new members. Personally I don't think perrik fits in here, he's insulted me and PI before and i don't really care to have him in here. It seems like his only reason is to have a place to chat about life, there's blogs for that. That's my opinion, i don't think he fits yet. Until we get the rules posted and the old fja members back, i don't think we should invite or have anyone new come in. FJA needs to get back on its feet and so far i don't think everyone new joining would help it. my opinion straight up.

Here's the thing MPD. We're not the cream of the crop. we're not the best in the forums. We're certinanly not better than any person who is not fja. its not about being better. its about FRIENDSHIPS. Its about being able to post in here and know the people replying. becuase you cant do that ANYWHERE else in the forums. That's why the orginal FJA people dont post here any more (excluding tf). They dont know the people posting here now. and that's fine. the thread has to move on....its for friends to post in. I'm not saying we shouldnt take new people. I dont know them...so I'm not gonna say anything on the subject. What I'm saying is that FJA is not supposed to be an example. we happen to try to be "good" becuase most of us are friends with Joe. We dont want to be on his bad side...but frankly just having this thread is (probably) not going to make him happy. We're restrictive...and thats against forum rules. so you cant have it both ways. we're either the bad guys or the good guys. but this thread has NEVER been about being better than ANYONE who is in the forums. its about being close. Its a way for me to post something i want my friends to read. and for them to be able to comment. people I trust.

If I was nice the world would spin off axis and we'd all die. Besides if someone quits because we were "Mean" on the internet they need to metal up a bit.

1. I'm gonna agree with Shannon and Lisa and say we put the brakes on adding new people for the time being. 2. Anyone who gives a hard time to Shannon or Bal is not welcome in my books. (Or Mish, or Lisa, etc.) 3. Profiles are irrelevant. We do not need to check them out. If we did, what would we look for? Would mine pass? 4. It seems to me that the best people have simply piped up with something to say now and then, with some humility, mainly reading. Other than that... We started as a lot of people who talked to each other a lot. then some of us met etc. We can discourage people from posting here, but can't enforce it. We can shun people or insult them, but aside from that, not much. It pretty much started as a joke, then as a social club, now it seems like it is something else. The less people talk about it outside this thread the better. Being a "member" does not mean you are accepted or cool or anything, just that you don't piss off the others too much if at all.

jesus murphy brown, so this morning(much like mister mpd) i awoke to snow falling, and not just the normal amount, when i went out to shovel the driveway it was already past my knee and that was 3 hours ago!!!!111111 we are getting pounded a good one, maybe later ill take a photo so you can understand the awesomness! Other then that life is somewhat fun, i still need to buy ALL my christmas gifts ha, im screwed. hope everyones having a rad season so far.. oh and just for the fun of it i dont like the idea of new members right now becuase the new verson just started, i think we need to just wait it out for awhile just like how we are waiting it out for the forum awards. but mpd, that whole post(the one on fja :P) was touching, i had a tear.

We are trying to buy a new house but the guy selling the one we like is acting as his own agent. Which is a totoal conflict of interest and a royal pain in the ass. We are also trying to sell our house which is an equally large pain in the ass. I mean who wants to think about hose shopping at Christmas time? Hey guys. Wow, I leave for 2 days and boom. Yes, to me FJA is about friendships, as in I've met quite a few of the members. Thats why Im puting the stop on new people. This is kinda like a place where we keep each other up to date on what we are doing with our lives, and its kinda weird when I dont know any of the people posting. It's not that we are anything special to this site, we are just a bunchas chumps keeping each other updated. ANYways. I just got home from 2 nights in my old town and it was a blast. Lost of alcohol was consumed, and I started the ultimate total dance party. It was most excellent. Tonight, I have tickets to a Kelowna Rockets hockey game, and tomorrow I have a formal christmas party to attend and not the slightest idea of what to wear!! As for the snow situation, we havent had any in about 2 weeks, so the hills are getting pretty stale.

I'm not trying to be too hard on the people who want to join, but it's not the time to have new members in my opinion, i think it can wait until things get settled and we can take a look around, see who is here and who would fit in with our mold of people. Does't have to be our closest friends but definitely people who fit fja and bring it further...whatever that is. G has said it before, that there are people who have been on this site years and aren't in fja that are part of joe's crew and the crew. I just think we should leave the members as they are for now, invite new ones when we see fit and know that special k, latinarider, shred and perrik are all interested to join. And one last thing, fja is not the all-mighty important gods of the snowboard.com kingdom...we really just ride the short special bus, but why brag about that ;)

I am ok with the people lisa mentioned piping up every once in a while. Just my opinion. Too much drama, perhaps I should take another sabbatical. No real need to check people out too much, frankly if we want to talk to them they are in if not then not. If we make a mistake they probably leave or we shun them...
