mike3161999 Posts : 9 OFFLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 i left mountain creek at 8:30 and it was extremely crowded. when i left it looked like the parking lot was full and they had a bus pulling in. conditions were excellent. just didn't want to wait in the very long lines. will be going back tonight when hopefully its less crowded.

gwrsoccerboy10 Posts : 696 ONLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 that was me...haha. i just got there and i was like f *ck that and i just hiked up 2 the top of the terrain park...it was rather painful, but the lines started to simmer down from 25 minute waits to like 15 minute waits towards like 2 pm. fun park setups, 2 real easy and fun kickers in a row, and hundreds of kids were mollesting the flat box they set up.

2Fly Posts : 124 OFFLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 I got there right after the lifts opened. Took two runs then the south lift broke so I took a hike too. I was impressed they had those two jumps up, wasn't expecting anything more than the two rails they had last year. I think creek will be open on monday since the weekday hours for south and bear are listed on the website. If it is i'll be there.

mtcboarder20 Posts : 203 ONLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 great day today, the rails and jumps were great, they did a great job giving us a nice little setup for opening day. some guys made a jump up on a closed trail on south a bitup form the base and were doing some nice backflips and uderflip type moves. I was jumping the rock ledge outside of the south lodge with some huy while my friend was filming, should ahve that film uploaded soon. It was about an 8 foot drop that the guy was doing, i did about a 5-6 foot one. i had a black sweatshirt with red bandana, if anyone saw me. [Edited on 12/10/2005]

2Fly Posts : 124 OFFLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 It use to say in the scroll bar that weekday hours were 9am to 9pm i think for south. I'm also taking it as a good sign that they were open till 9pm this weekend when opening weekend is usually day riding only.

pooter03 Posts : 60 OFFLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 I went to camelback today instead of the Creek. It was great, almost no lines the entire day and a lot of trails open. Still, I'll end up going to the Creek from now on (mostly due to my season pass :))

Stahls Posts : 78 ONLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 Yeah, I was in the middle to front of the line when it broke. We were too stupid to leave and try Bear or walking, so we sat there for what was like and hour and a half. But then it started working and it was fine the rest of the day. I had fun despite the crowd. I only hit the jumps once, I was having too much fun just flying down the mountain just messing around. The park was packed. I'm going tomorrow and will hopefully be on the mountain at 8.
