i ended up going to interlaken in switzerland this past weekend and it was amazing.  The weather was great and they had some fresh snow earlier that week.  I went to Grindelwald, Schilthorn and Männlichen...so one mountain per day.  Everyday I had to stay a little bit higher though because snow at the bottom was starting to get slushy from the above freezing temps. Thanks for all the advice

Cool dude, glad you had a good weekend.

How long are you in Europe for before you go back home?

i could swing the money for it only cause i know i wont be around the alps for a looong time. the forecast also says theyre gonna get a bunch of snow this week but its a plane to a bus to get there...or a bunch of train transfers to a bus and i duno if i wanna make the long trek.  ive also been away every weekend this month and it's been wearing on me.  hmmm!

Cool, well make the most of the time you have left dude, and get yourself to Tignes, you never know if you will get the chance again.

Just got back from avoriaz, was far too warm and snow was not too good, but they are planning snowfall and low temperature for the end of the week, so should be a good time to get to the slopes!
I'm French, I am proud of it...
...but I just f*cking hate them back home!

I was in Avoriaz the week from the 7th to 14th an it was brilliant, though if there was no fresh since then I can imagine how  it would have been for you.
