really depends on the touque... i say no hat underneith unless its the baselayer type. my reason is not only the gaps/buttons/seams/pressure points, but also compression. a thick hat that fits perfectly and a helmet that fits perfectly over it will have an extra cm of compression... which can make a suprising difference. try holding your fist against one palm and doing a quick push... then move it a cm away and do the same... thats what you are adding as far as impact goes.
its not the end of the world to wear stuff under it, its just not as effective. better to wear a hat under and have it fit right than one that is wrong sized and just flops around though.
so my conclusion... buy one that fits on a naked head = best
wrong sized, but touque 'fills' the gap = next best
no helmet = no good
completely wrong sized helmet = even worse since you think you are protected and are allowed into parks and such.
but thats just my opinion. and i'm dumb.

ALEX MOVE BACK TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE YOU THINK YOU ARE FROM!!!!!
beanies have propellors. end of story. like this:
and that would really not be comfortable under a helmet.
www.HattStreet.etsy.com beanies have propellers and you buy them with cereal boxes. they're toques, bitches.

notice that the kind of hat kendra talks about is listed?!?
how bout when you look up touque?.... no things that are not touques! 20/20 pictures... toque even has 18/20 with a monkey and chef's hat thrown in... your beanie page? only 17/20. so there ya go... you lose!
touque for the win... toque places, and beanie shows... but thats just because of american sites! hell, a 'sweater hat' would be more appropriate than beanie!

i like how somehow we turned this into a hockey chat... only in the ec section.
so, sens.. not in playoffs, leafs, pretty much out, edmonton, right on the cusp and not playing well as of late, vancouver in, but a lot of people close....
none of our teams are really that solid as of late eh? overall, without knowing their records, i'd put it vancouver, ottawa, oilers then leafs... basically... ottawa is just shitting the bed.

i used to have sean tickets to the gardens back then... if i remember correctly, our red seats were 45 bucks each back in 93... now the equivalent seats are over 100 bones. pretty sure inflation hasn't caused things to double in price.
flames are quite good... tops in the division so that puts em in third in the conference. they have a chance to go pretty far if they can stay consistant.
and i didn't think you followed hockey back when the leafs last won... in 1967. you didn't seem that old!
