nagative there good buddy good pal. this customer i was referring to was a recent immigrant who had never worked in canada. but to keep her from feeling all butt-hurt, they called it unemployment and she got a greater amount. and i probably got carried away, she makes more when all is said and done, not just from her gov't cheque.
but yeah.. you'd be amazed at the customers i get in that are on welfare or permanent disability or such, yet they have the most expensive tastes. i actually had one who i managed to get approved on a loan for a chrysler 300... he refused saying he needed heated leather and a sunroof. obviously i couldn't get that financed so it was my fault.
and i do get frustrated by unemployment... unemployment should be a job at mcdonalds. not a cheque for attempting to find a 'better' job while you have time off. as much as i have empathy for those who have lost a job for one reason or another, be responsible for your own actions. be it quitting, doing a shite job or choosing to work for a company that could go under/need layoffs.
i'm currently looking for work even though i've got a job... because its in automotive, who knows what could happen? if my store goes out of business, i'll pick up a job roofing or such till i can find something better.
