I just turned 40 (today), but I'm not letting that stop me, or slow me down, for my up-coming season. I don't ride kink rails as much, but I'll stiill hit the boxes, step-ups/downs, hips, half pipe...& the odd groomed run, if I feel daring!!!

Karma I completely understand and go along with your point of view there, though I did find this
www.thestash.com which looks like Burton (for all their faults) are at least trying to get all mountain freestyle back on the agenda again, its a step forward, and as im in Avoriaz next week I am certainluy going to check it all out.
and Cris, you might be an old man now but your still a nutter!

i think the appeal lies in that urban riding can be done anywhere. no mountain, no problem.
personally, i feel that riding park is fun. but only when i don't have other choices. if i have some backcountry or some powder staces?... i'm hitting that. if i'm here in ontario and i can only make it to my local hill with 400 vertical feet?
see you in the park.
but still.. even having said that, i like snowbaording specific terrain. boxes - check... handrails - nope.
oh, and my first ride out on my new 'jib-stick'.... second run out, i nailed myself and have a concussion.
haikus are easy but sometimes they don't make sense refrigerator
