Hi all. The name is Jess, born and raised Alberta, Canada but just moved east to Newfieland for some further education. I'm 20 and I've been boarding for 4 years, got hooked on the adrenaline and love the pipe. I board alone for the most part because I'm new on the slopes of Marble Mountain. Really nice place, small but awesome natural snow. I learned to board in the Rockies, mainly Jasper, Whistler and Fernie. Anyways, I'm new here and I spend most of my time scrolling through the board talk. Peace!

Hi, Im Chris.  Im 17, and will be 18 in a few weeks here.  Ive been snowboarding for almost 10 years now, and I love it.  I'm not "pro" material, and im not trying to pursue it as a career or anything, but its like my favorite thing to do with spare time.

I live in a shit hole town in up state new york and my home mountain is very lame, its tiny, and presents little to know challenge at all.  The only good thing about it is everyone knows everyone, and the locals kind of run the place.

I work as a pizza delivery guy, and still go to school, it blows.

Well, I forgot to mention that I wont be riding for the rest of the season due to an injury.  Last week I wrecked hitting some piece of shit kicker and broke two bones in my neck and had to have surgery.  Now im recovering, and out of work, school, and snowboarding for a long long time.  Its pretty shitty, but for having a broken neck I think Im doing pretty good.

Anyway, I hope that was an ok introduction, and I look forward to getting to know some of you guys.

Have a good night,
'
peace

I'm Gregg, I'm 22 and live in Binghamton NY.  I just got into snowboarding, and I am hooked.  It's a lot of fun so far, and I go whenever I have the time.  This site seems pretty cool, and hopefully I can meet some cool people to ride with.  I work a lot, and go to school which isn't a terribly good time.  I am an elitist when it comes to music, I like punk and hardcore, and I think whatever you listen to is terrible. I like tattoos.  I'm open minded.

Anyone interested in chatting chuck us a message :)
Am here to get as much info on where to go and stay as possible... Heading to Europe, Canada and the States for four months and plan to make the most of the snow :)

What's shakin.  Geoff here.  Originally from upstate NY, but in Atlanta now and on my way back up to NYC.  Been boarding for 12 years.  Just got back from Steamboat, CO for a week of fresh powder.  Hate the glacial ice of the east coast.  Always looking for new mountains to hit.  Two faves -  Jackson and Canyons.  Planning on going to New Zealand before my AARP card gets delivered (I'm getting oooooold!).  Always looking for advice on equipment too.

Hey,
Im 18, from langley bc. I rode a ton along time ago for one season, then the following year was in a car accident so i couldn't do much for the following 2 seasons. I went out and bought new gear and have finally gotten my butt back up on the mountain this season and love it. Aside from boarding, i work full time and ride my horse, hang out and train at the gym. I do photography and have recently been looking into trying some boarding photography, ive seen some gnarly pictures thats forsure.
come say hi, im always looking for new people to go boarding with.

Hi, I'm Sean, and I'm a snowboarder.
As someone just mentioned, this feels like an AA meeting, I suppose in a way we are all addicted, to the white stuff. I feel kinda new, even though I've been on the site for years, since the day when the single SB.com server stood an a beer crate down in Joes basement, but I've only been lurking for the last few years. Now I seem to have found the time to spend on the net and to get back into the swing of things, so I feel like a noob all over again. Yes, we have snow in South Africa, and 1 very small resort, but I had to go all the way to Hew Hampshire to discover snowboarding, and got hooked, for life!

Patrick.  Live and work @ Snowshoe, WV.  41yo.  No, that's not a typo.  Got converted last season from two sticks to one.  I'm never going to ski again in my life.  Got almost 100 days in last year.  If you come up to the 'shoe, check out our new shop in Soaring Eagle Lodge.  Best board selection in WV.  Remember, there's no such thing as a free helicopter ride!  Peas.

Hi all. I'm 19 and a beginner snowboarder from Calgary, but living in Lethbridge for school. I tried snowboarding when I was about 15 but had a pretty painful accident which made me lose interest in the sport. However, my roommate and a couple friends are into snowboarding so I decided to pick it up again as it looks like a lot of fun. And it is.

I got out to Castle Mountain yesterday for a full day of boarding. My friend taught me the basics, and I was able to move off the bunny hill onto a green run by lunch time and had a blast. The conditions were great and I cant wait to go again.
