Im new here.

Im a boy. 14 years old. I live in Oslo, Norway. I've ben riding for 5 years...

HEY EVERYONE IM NEW I SNOWBOARD AND SKI AND LOVE THE MOUNTAINS

My name is Mike and I'm 19 years old. I attend Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. I'm a full time college student who likes to board in his free time. This is my second season and I have yet to make a run. I love partying, having fun, meeting new people, and being bad at snowboarding still. I make hilarious falls that usually get chair-lift commentary like one time I was turning toe-side and caught a bump with the width of my board. Not knowing how to speed check I was going real fast and went in the air and landed on my stomach. Slid about ten feet hands first sprawled out before coming to an abrupt stop. Shortly after I heard a loud "SAFE!" from the chair-lift. After responding with a thumbs up I got up and kept going. I'm new to boarding but not to pain. So I try and push myself as far as I can go and hopefully I'll be pretty proficient by the end of this season.

my name is josh, im 23 and i joined the army when i was a senior in high school. i spent all of 2005 in iraq and then all of 2007 and what looks like its going to be the first 3 months of 2008. the army has somehow managed to schedule every leave i have ever had so that it is not during the snow season. im stationed out of georgia and there isnt much snow there. i havent been on the mountain since 2003 and i cant wait to get back. i love football and baseball but growing up in seattle i was cursed with crappy sports teams. i will be a civilian again next summer and i plan to make up for 5 years worth of not boarding. if anyone is looking for someone to ride with during the 2009 season, hit me up.
