clapton is on my list of people i need to see... let me know how he is these days...
my last was a silly one...
apparently i'm a vip and got to go to the toronto autoshow for a black tie event for a thousand people or so... chilliwack and david usher played. usher was quite good actually... i hadn't seen him live since he opened for neil young as the frontman for moist.

another friend of mine went to that show shred! i never even thought that you guys would be close to each other...

It was the best Maiden show I've been to. Yep, mechanical Eddie was there, & the props were very much along the lines of the World Slavery Tour (Live After Death CD/DVD) in '84/'85. Dickonson wore one of his Egyption masks for the song Powerslave, & his British Army red coat, while singing The Trooper. Jannick Geers was all over the stage (kinda reminded me of a Steve Vai gig), & Steve Harris was always up front of stage. His daughter, Lauren Harris, opened for the show. I was disappointed they didn't play Running Free, Can I Play With Madness, & Prowler, but apart from that, it was almost Live After Death, including opening with Aces High.
