Carmen,  get a custom paint job, tint the window, throw some sounds in there and top it off with some sweet wheels.  He'll be good to go.  :)

Young Frankenstein?

It's that Cloris Leachman accent that makes me think that...but I don't think that's the right answer.

Getting closer.  Go back a littler further to the granddaddy of them all.

Meh, the hell with it.
^^^^ That has to be the all time classic "ski" movie.  WTF is a chinese downhill?

Anyhow, filmed in North Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley.  The crowd scenes were a bunch of drunk and high locals.  In 94 (last time I visited Squaw) I saw some of those ski bums still working at Squaw.

Are you serious? It's the precursor of the modern day Boarder/Skier-cross. An anything goes race to the bottom.

I'm ashamed to admit that I might not have ever seen Hot Dog - The Movie.

Not at all serious.  It's a line in the movie, which features a chinese downhill on the Mountain Run.  Wow, never seen Hot Dog?  You should make it your mission to find a copy and watch it.  It's an all time classic for sure.

I remember the movie, that downhill race and the snowbunnies.  IMHO the movies have gone downhill...case in point; just a few hours ago saw the world premieres of "sentimental values” (funner) and “catch the vapors” (standard) at the Mt Baker Theater. I’ll admit that the technique and terrain has improved as evidenced by the insane lines of J Jones and M Landvik’s pow riding. However there was not a single snowbunny scene… except for a flash during funner’s grandma sesh.   WHERE'S THE BUNNIES!!!!

Wow, way to nail the obscure quote!!! I didn't think anyone would get that one.

I'm in agreement, all TGR flicks need to include a 4-seasons or alpenhof hot tub scene!

Ha!  I haven't watched Hot Dog in a long time.  I remember the theme room hotel was actually the Fantasy III in which really did exist in Tahoe City.  Sadly it went under over a decade now.   Have a drink for the Fantasy III Inn...

There is snow on the tops of the mountains around town.  Opening day in CO is about a month away.
