They play all sorts of metal, and many unknown bands aswell. AND they have a Viking metal show every once in a while, how cool is that?! Naturally, you should check out the Metal Injection show. I'm gonna go w/ America for the newer stuff. Britain seems to be in a slump lately. If we were talking about the '80s though, it would be hands down Britain. But a lot of bands I'm listening to right now are either Scandinavian (Valhalla!) or American.

socrdiva11 Posts : 1572 OFFLINE	Posted on Dec 10, 2005 well, i'm gonna stick around this time in here...posted a few times in v1.0...but as others said, it was hard to keep up with 50+ pages. where the hell is Steve? he's given me some great bands to look into and someone else too...can't remember the name...but i had a chill out music thread in v1.0 and was introduced to such bands as Explosions In The Sky, Dregd, Mogwai, Godspeed...oh man....awesomeness!! and for scandy stuff, i've been listening to alot of Sigur Ros lately...total scandy there!!

(don't worry.. not really french). bands like the arcade fire, wolf parade, stars, the dears, the stills and metric... getting to be quite big due to some odd love people are discovering they have for indie music... now, not all are technically from montreal (as in born and raised) but they are there now.... but of the two you mentioned, it all depends on the genre you are looking for... british has the pop/rock market, whereas north america can handle the "punk" and some of the heavier stuff.
	haikus are easy but sometimes they don't make sense refrigerator
