Im suprised paolo you didnt know that its an english term I believe.
you shouldn't be surprised as much as simply concerned MPD.
it is indeed an english term and what with my being english, most would perceive alarms bells ringing to suggest that perhaps this word's application wasn't the most approrpiate.
considering the comprehensive explanation from the most learned Lakia; i should think one and all would wonder how the term 'tart' applies to an elderly cricketing man with a gargantuan beard!
are you suggesting that his facial fur is hiding some form of 'beef flap'?

Thanks Cus!
We just had cheesecake at work for my birthday (nothing like eggnog cheesecake at 10 am!) Anyway, the birthday girl/boy has to clean up all the dishes after cake is served. However, my boss (owner and president of the company) said "You've been doig my dishes all year, the least I can do is do them for you on your birthday!" Redeemed!

LOL nimby D won't be pleased when he reads that....after all, "sweetie", it's the secretary's job....she's lucky to have the opportunity to wash the dishes of those higher up in the business world than her!

Happy early birthday from me too!
But who came up with the idea that the birthday girl/boy has to do the dishes? That's rediculous. It's a good thing you didn't have to do them. I would have quit before washing my own birthday dishes.
