that sense of not being able to tell which way is up, the flat light snowblind sensation that gravity is no longer on your side and that vision can no longer be trusted... it doesn't want to go away - it has transfered itself into my daily life, somedays it is like almost nothing, other days it keeps me bed bound. say no to the vertigo!
otherwise, bali was unreal, baker has been sick, also hit up schweitzer, steven's and whistler, my sled is in rehab and should be out soon, i moved in with my best friend, my younger brother is moving up here to shred with me and rule the nw, truck is happy, despite the hearing loss and vertigo, overall - life is good!

i do not know how i got so lucky, but i am. these companies are amazing and the people who run/work for them are unbelievable. thanks to olin, jesse, pos, julia, dan, desiree, richard, kami and brad. i can't even begin to show my gratitude, they are all too good to me, can't wait to shred this year!!!
PART TWO: GOING TO INDONESIA i have been compiling suggestions, if you have any, let me know, i am leaving in two weeks... just me my backpack, a camera, some money, and a surfboard... i can't believe it!!!
i got a another peice of the snowboarding trinity - heliboarding!!! i jioned a bunch of cool folk up at tyax in BC for 4 days of amazing snow and beautiful scenery and sick turns at the end of march. dream vacation? an understatement!!! i was in some heavy company that taught me a thing or two... and it all started by dropping my buddy, richard off in vancouver at the pan pacific. he stopped by baker for some shredding on the way to tyax, instead of taking a cab from bellingham to van, he asked me if i wanted the fare, i said "hell yes i do!" i dropped him off and went to get a slice of pizza and call some friends, as the slice was warming, i received a phone call "if you can make it to the heli pad in whistler by 2pm, you can come on the trip. there are no alternates who can make it this last minute." my pizza arrived and i stared dumbfounded at it for a bout 15 minutes. "i gotta get to whistler, now!" so i shakily walked to the car and calmly headed out of the city... heli drop

i have been working on a benefit for chill in seattle, it is going to be a rail jam at summit west on march 12, if you need info, contact me or seattlechill@hotmail.com or go to www.summit-at-snoqualmie.com or www.chill.org snow to no snow to snow. funny how we build our lives around what nature is willing to dish out instead of what time we need to report to the office. banked slalom was great, i like to see old friends. the holy oly revival was so similar, just back to what we love, friends and snow. i can't wait to see how my life will come together.

i also got a bonus from the last job. got asked out on a date. got to ride pow for days at baker (amazing incredible lovely lines, spines, chutes and pillows). volunteered. painted new stuff. paid rent! made some new friends. hung out with some old ones. so much good stuff. banked slalom this weekend, good times. not that it matters to anyone, but it sure made my life easier and better and happier.

riding up at baker and the pass often, anyone interested in carpooling should leave a note... other than that, We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
We are strong, no one can tell us we’re wrong
Searchin’ our hearts for so long, both of us knowing
Love is a battlefield
just a little stuck in my head right now

django is attacking dolamite right now. no one really wants to read my journal entries right? or even cares what i do in my day. maybe if i had something prolific to say it might be worthwhile, until then i dont think i wil bother with the "core" membership. xo
