Don't you just love the sound it makes when you turn hard or stop on fresh corduroy? I do.

Don't you just love the pop feeling you get when you ollie a lil snow bump? Oh yes, I do.

How 'bout sliding on curved boxes or spinning slow backside 180s? Can you say Hell YES?

Riding (floating) wheelies in deep powder? Uh Huh.

I don't know exactly how or why I became so interested (obsessed) with snowboarding (prolly saw something EXTREME on TV as a child?), but what ever happed I'm glad it did, because I can't imagine how boring my life would be without it.

	PS - we have two teams, one is progressive were you don't have to try out - you just pay the fee and get professional coaching. It's a great way to progress. Our other team is the competetive team that has tryouts so that we can showcase our best riders in competitions.

	Yup, we have a team here at CSU. We are a club sport and compete at Copper/Winter Park in the USASA series in our own collegiate division. We compete against other schools such as CU, DU, and CMC. Last year we won the Collegiate Team Challenge and hold the title as best in state. This year we are upping the ante by having our own division, and the top 3 men and women will hopefully go to nationals. We have two professional coaches, one has coached at High Cascade for the past few years and the other does the pro circuit in New Zealand during the off season here. It's a great organization and you should look into it once you get to ColoRADo.
