murray_p has created a new forum topic 09 rome targas anyone else having problems?. Posted on Mar 15, 2009
my opinion has drastically changed about these bindings over this season.

there isn't near enough forward lean, the auto-strap crap broke on 3 straps, the forward lean adjuster loosened up so it has a hard time staying locked so i had to do some permanent modifications to it, sometimes on hard heelturns the heelcup on my bindings has slid under that shitty lean adjuster, i have no faith in the little shit ladders on the strap side of the bindings (k2 plasmas had the same tech 5 years ago and they broke all the time), my highback cracked. these are most of the problems i have encountered so far, needless to say i will not be riding rome bindings next season. i am riding the rome design 162 and use the 165 and having no problems with the board, anyone else using the design?

i have had the same malamutes for probably 5 years. i have size 10.5 and i used to use them probably close to 160-180 days a year when i worked at my ski hill. they packed out maybe half a size. in the first season and the second no change. in my 3rd i got new liners from salamon and have used the same since. i have done many alterations to them when i got my custom foot beds but other than that they are still great. the rubber on one dried out a bit over the summer but i rubbed vasoline in it for 3 weeks and it sofened out a bit but i think this is my last season with them. they have done me very well.
