Was at Hunter Mtn today, was kinda crappy toward the bottom because of all the rain we had. On the bright side the snowguns are on and it is getting coler again.

Really need to get up to Killington to get my legs in shape for the trip out west.

This winter's big snowboard trip will be to Telluride, CO Jan 1 to 8, 2005. Should be a blast.

Waitin for the east coast resorts to open. I keep checking the Vermont weather and it looks like it will be cold enough for Killington to make snow the 1st weekend in Nov. with a snowstorm in forcast too. I predict K-town will be open by the 12th.

Total days on a snowboard for 03/04 season: 37 witch is 1 day shorter than 02/03 season with 38 days. Resorts visited this year were all on the East Coast: Killington, Stratton, Hunter, Camelback, Blue Mtn. (PA), and Mountain Creek.

Had a good weekend at Killington on March 28/29 was pretty warm out and had a good time. That was my last trip of the season and there are no big storms on the horizon to peak my intrest in going back up to Vermont until summer.

Packed up the snowboard stuff for the season and getting ready for surfing, wakeboarding and mountain biking.

I might still be going on a trip to South America for their winter at the end of July or August to snowboard. Should be pretty cool to leave summer for a week and head to the winter on the other side of the world.

Rode at Mountain Creek on Wed and worked CB on Friday.

Can't believe how bad Creek got, thought MC would of held up a little better, but oh well season has to end sometime. Trails were more of an obstical course on Wed, maybe they could groom the trails better for the weekend but I doubt it.

At CB I was told they still had 60+ snow guns set up to blow snow again if it gets cold. I think Mon/Tue/Wed it should be cold enough to see snowguns back in action at CB.

I am done workin for ski patrol this year and if I go back to CB it will be to ride for fun, proll monday and friday. My friends are on spring break and have a house at Killington so I'll be up there the week of the 14-19th.

Was at Camelback Friday and Saturday and the conditions were great for the amount of skiers and snowboarders that were there. Saturday started trail checks at 0715 am and knew it was going to be a great day and the place was not that crowded compared to other holiday weekends in the past. Took a reporter from the local paper around the mountain for a tour and my photo is gonna be in the paper in the ski/snowboard column that runs on Thursdays. The only thing that sucked about the weekend is the girl I really like did not show up at the mountain today when she said she was gonna be there. I left her flowers in her ski locker for V-day hopefully she gets them tomorrow instead, sucks I won't be there to see her get them.

Worked at CB today was rain/ice/snow mix on way up and when I got to the mountain there was still some fresh stuff on the ground. Made some of the first runs down trails that were open was real sweet. Conditions turned for worse rather quickly with freezing rain all day. After this storm moves out and trails get regroomed all should be good again. Sat mid day and Sunday look good.

Was at Camelback Monday and condtions were still good. Seems its been so cold that snow does not melt during the day and then refreeze at night keeping everything great once the groomers hit the slopes at night/early morning. Going to Mountain Creek early Thurs then Camelback again on Friday. Hopefully this latest storm amounts to something Tue/Wed.

Was at CB on Wed/Thur and the conditions were great all trails packed powder. Snowstorm on the radar for Monday would be cool if the storms keep coming.

Was up at CB on Tue/Wed this past week and both parks are fully open and the hits are great. Might go up this weekend and ride not sure yet if it snows I will go for sure. CB put some money into their parks this year and has a whole crew maintaining the jumps and rails.

Painful cold up in Vermont so we came home to the warmer weather. It was -13F arround lunch time at the base of the Skyeship Gondola at Killington yesterday and was only open to mid-station. From there ya had to take another lift up to top of Snowshed. We made 1 trip down and the cold was going through every layer I had on. Painful and no fun so we all went back to the house and chilled. The day before was great and enjoyed some powder in the glades with the snow that was falling. Tomorrow we are back here for the warm weather and left Killington to ride Mountain Creek and Camelback...ya never thought ya hear that from anyone.

Cold is good! rode at CB all day temp was about 10F all day and was down to about 4F when I left at 6p.m. Wish I waxed in some artic powder before I left because the board was a little slow on the flats. They opened the park at 3p.m. like they said they were going to. They were making snow all over the mountain and new stuff continues to open. Should be 100% open by next weekend. Going to CB again Monday then heading up to Killington for the week.
