Hanging out with my chikas at the Waterville Rail Jam, my first time competing in a rail jam! Mary on the left killed it!! She freaken nails her backsides board and nose slides!! Heidi -in the middle- lent me her board. Mine had been tuned without my knowledge, and had mega sharp edges so it was totally unusable... I used it for warm ups, and on my first run, hitting a front side bs, my edge caught in the middle of the down part of the box and I flew out backwards landing on my back... first run yikes! But that wasn't the end of it.... I just changed boards and used Heidi's... THANK YOU HEIDI !!!!

Oh what a day !
Woke up, inches of snow and snow still falling... I had to make the decision: work or ride... mmmm tough one... YEAH RIGHT!!
Powder day all the way, and couldn't have been any other way but be on a weekday, trails all to yourself... floating in a bliss of a white heaven... Oh what a day =)
I had a dream last night... it woke me up a littl' after 6am - I was running like a mad woman under snow, open mouth trying to eat em all "Snow" I yelled... "SNOOWowowoow" - somehow my mom who's in France was there, watching me... "dang girl, u really like snow" ---- I woke up, sad to realize it was a dream, and looking forward to a big disappointment I looked outside... and to my surprise...
SNOOOWWW !!!
First snowfall here at Okemo!!! Covered all trails... was a sweet deal for early birds coz today's rain washed most of it away...

Just got back from a weekend camping out in Vermont (pix), cliff jumping and checking out the breweries =)
Good times
I'm now back from sunny Florida - surfing rocked! That's how I got to celebrate my bday 
I'll be hangging out in Boston at Christina's and Jayme's until I move into my new place out at Okemo in Vermont to start my new job!

Yeah what a freaken awesome weekend!! 3 days straight of hitting the rails with the crew, what more can you ask?

can't wait to graduate
im getting sick of exams, but most of all, of being a weekend warrior... wake up at 4:30, take a 4hr bus drive, messed up back, ride the most you can, trying to get the most out of it and not getting too hurt, back on the bus for another 4 hour drive... traffic sux... back home, crash, you stink, who cares, your man is miles away near the snow, you wake the next day and realize you have to wait 6 full days before you get to step into your bidings again... AND you have to go to classes in the meantime!

Today's my last day at Burton... 
Watch out Boston, Mayta's coming back!!
I'll be riding Stowe until the 4th - the date of my return to Massachusetts.
I'll definitely miss VT, Burton, Burlington and riding every morning!!
