how's your summer treating ya so far?  mine's been pretty good...my mom and sis were here visiting for 10 days..that was a nice treat...took a week off work and it felt damn good...going camping this weekend..just for a nite or two...sat nite at cat lake probably, just car camping and possible friday nite at porteau cove...should be good times...

just wanted to say hey and see what's up...hope all's good in your world...

not much is happening...finally took a whole weekend off ....was sweet...biked all weekend in squamish and whistler...did my first bail straight over my handle bars off a bridge into a rock filled ditch...i wish i coulda seen it...it was in slow motion it seemed...haha

did you have a good b-day?  hope you got good and rowdy...what did you do to celebrate?

man, i don't know where the hell summer is but it better hurry the hell up....this grey ass weather is bringing me down....

so camping didn't happen....i got strep throat instead...meds didn't work and ended up in emergency sat nite with severe strep and ear infection...no fun...they sent me home with new meds and morphine...the morphine didn't work either... :(...so ended up have a really shi*tty four day weekend!

how was your weekend?  i sure hope it was better than mine...i'm gonna try to get my ass out doing something this weekend...whether it be riding, hiking or maybe even trying climbing...gotta test out the thumb at some point!

so i didn't ride this weekend thanks to a torrential downpour all day saturday in whistler...i was so choked...sunday turned out to be beautiful but i had to come back to the city to work yet another sunday...i'm taking my whole weekend this weekend and going camping...not sure where yet...either garibaldi lake, rainbow mountain or cerise creek...i'm pretty stoked that summer's almost here...

rode whistler on saturday..had the best time..rode peak chair all day and found freshies all over the place...now i'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the worst goggle burn/tan ever..lol...so sexy

turns out my hand was broken afterall...nice that it took six weeks to figure that one out...gonna keep riding anyways seeing as i was riding all along...just can't start climbing again until at least july... :(

heading to whistler again to ride on saturday...might come back to hike seymour on sunday with some buddies...hopefully we'll get some good weather

my weekend coulda been better, but it coulda been worse too...lol...got hammed in whistler sat nite and had to come back on the 8am bus on sun for work...the bus broke down in lions bay, so here i was sitting on a broke down greyhound, hungover as hell on my way to work on easter morning!  haha...heading to whistler tomorrow after work though to ride on saturday...then back to work on sunday...these 6 day weeks are killing me.

i came out west 4 1/2 years ago...started in coquitlam and then kinda bounced around the lower mainland but i've been in north van since september and it's definitely the raddest spot so far...don't think i'll be leaving n.van anytime soon! 

if i ride the local hills it's usually seymour or cypress, depending on who i go with.....i love nite riding at seymour cuz it's super ghetto and reminds me of my hill back home....but i've been doing most of my riding in whistler this year...funny, cuz i'd never even ridden whistler before this season...now i ride there more than anywhere else.....hitting up big white and sunshine in banff in three weeks...pretty stoked for that trip...

now it needs to snow here before that cuz i haven't ridden since the cold (sans snow) snap hit....and i want to ride before i go away....can't wait that long!

ah ha ha....snow in vancouver is such great entertainment...i'm from nova scotia so it's hilarious to see the chaos that comes from 2cm of snow in the city.....i would love to see it snow in the city again...i'd be happy to settle with some fresh stuff on the mtns tho....beggars can't be choosers so i've been told...
