I don't check this out too often these days. Been working lots and now I'm almost ready to shred. Life is good for me, I'm content and happy with my life in Squamish. Hope that you are also doing what you love.

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ABOUT THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENTS DECISION TO BAN ALL MEDIA FROM THE ARRIVAL OF THE 4 CANADIAN SOLIDIERS WHO WERE RETURNED HOME TODAY?
The Canadian Government decided that 'out of respect for the families of the victims' the media NOT broadcast the Military Ceremony this afternoon bringing those fallen soldiers home. These men who DIED FOR OUR COUNTRY, have not even been honored by our government by lowering the Canadian flag to half mast today. The Canadian people were not given to opportunity to honor and mourn those men.
Did you know that it's a policy that George W. enforces in America? The American Media does not cover lost soldiers who were fighting in the War on Terror. Did you know that 8 AMERICAN soldiers were also killed in Afganistan over the weekend and the news was mearly a footnote in the news? Bullshi*t. And now our newly elected Tories are adopting the same policy. Even more bullshi*t.
I feel so much sadness for the world we are living in right now. Where is peoples compassion? Their understanding towards each other? We have elected a government who we can not trust. Who now says 'God Bless Canada' at the end of every speech?! Sound eerily farmilar. How have we let this happen?
Does it not beak your heart? SO what do you do about it? Do you do your individual part?
Have faith that there are like-minded people in our world, who believe in peace and love and a brighter, happier place for our children to live in.

So I hear that it's snowing in the mountains. Can't imagine. I've been living the springtime happy life in Squamish. I've been to 2 weeks worth of ball practices, built a new garden, cleaning up existing gardens. Yup, it's the next season for me. Thank goodness.
I'm ready.
I would like to say that I'm gonna try and get up the hill next week for one last hoorah...I'd like to shred with Nicola and Abby again. Haven't even been up with Abby this year. That sucks. oh well. I'm in a different place now. It's a happy place...just different. So you might see me next week...and you might just see me on my way to the ballpark...ahahahaha.
Threw the ball the other day. First game is in a few weeks!

I'm building a new garden this week. I'm so happy, as of Monday it's officially spring. Bring it on.
The new garden is in the Industrial Park here in Squamish, it's gonna be real pretty. Plant shopping tomorrow! YA And then work on Friday and Sat.

On Saturday night we went to the city for a buddies birthday. We got drunk and went to some crazy cowboy bar! HAHA My girlfriend is a cowgirl...I was just along for the ride! Drank Bud and shots of tequila....great eh. Woke up yesterday NOT feeling fabulous. Had some breakfast and got drving back to Squamish.
Over night, Squamish recieved 40 cms of new snow. My truck was parked on the street, I could hardly see it! And the driveway was well....not shoveled. The last thing we wanted to do at 5pm. But we did it, got my truck out, thank goodness for the big, powerful Ford 4x4. Anyho...it's pissing rain now...take all that snow away. Can you believe it, I want the snow gone. I can't see my gardens anymore, how am I suppose to work with all this snow in the way!?

Phew...the sun came out this week.
I got to spend the day in the yard today. Lovely day....watched Canada win our first GOLD metal! I like the Olympics...I have a few buddies there AND my cousin is competing in the Boarder-Cross, can't wait to see him race! And then as our Womans Canadian team beat
Italy 16(!!)-0(holy!!!) we got the yard cleaned up and tonees of stuff pruned! Nice day.
Going out there again, think we have some weather moving in.....later.

So I don't spend awhole lotta time here anymore.
And I'm wondering, why do so many people sneek into my profile? Don't like it so much.
So I get up at 5:30 this beautiful morning, after listening to it rain all night, dreaming of pow slashes, to ride Baker today. As per usual, they are getting pounded. As an after-though, I check the web-site to see how much snow they got, I'm eating breakfast, in my shred gear, making coffee, ready to head out the door. What does the web-site tell me?
CLOSED DUE TO AVALANCHE CONTROL AND SLOPE STABILIZATION.
Ah ya, did I mention the 18 inches overnight? And the 7.25 FEET in 5 Days! Holy moley. I'll go later today and I doubt that any of you will see me again!

Colorado was cold. Ottawa kicked the avalanche all over the arena. I was on my feet alot. That was fun.I love hockey. Ya 3 goals in 2 minutes.
Go Canada.
Rode a foot of fresh at Vail with abuncha boys. Cool mountain. super big and if you do ANYTHING before you ride Vail...WAX YOUR BOARD. It's in your best interest.
It was super to meet all you kids from Colorado. Ya got great mountains. Come to Squamish. My town is pretty effin cool too.
The trip home was long as hell. Rode yesterday at Keystone, drove to Denver(thanks for the ride fej) flew to Vegas at 9pm, slept on a bench till midnight. Flew to Seattle. Caught the shuttle to my truck, drove 4 hours to Squamish. Slept almost allday. Feeling quite outta sorts. Glad to be home.
Love going away, but I love coming home.

I am ready for ball to be over. I've never felt more broken. Both my shoulder are f*cked. Legs are sore, only 5 more games yippee!! Mid October me and 4 girls are going to Florida to play in the SPORTS ILLUSTRATED ADVERTISING WORLD SERIES OF SOFTBALL!! And then after that, it's all about the MLB World Series and HOCKEY!!!

Summer has been here for just over a week and it's almost August. Go figure. I'm healing pretty well. Playing ball again and slowly getting back to work. Life is good. As usual.
LAst week I was t-boned by a 1988 F-150.
My truck...my little wicked 1983 Toyota pick up with the perfect frame and almost new tires that I've been driving for almost 5 years was totalled. Yes written off. Sigh.
I somehow walked away, but they still took me to the hospital in an ambulance. I'm not broken but have lot of soft tissue damage in my neck, shoulder and upperback.
So no work...and ...NO BALL.
Not sure what to do with myself.
But overall I'm pretty good. ICBC is being pretty cool, i have free physio till at least the middle of Sept and a rental and they are paying for me to hire peeps to keep business going. Phew.

Loss-2...holy sh*t we lost. I have never seen the other team hit that good before. they were getting like 3 homeruns an inning! we kept answering, but they were just scoring! sh*tty. not overly stoke about that.
BUT...I played well, best yet this season. HIt an off-field triple and had 2 RBI's on a bunt. NIce night.

And we plan to keep it that way. I play catcher on this team. With no force at home, but we all share the postition, they also put me in center left. I like being in the field, got the wheels. Games next 2 nights. maybe I'll finally start, finally got on base last week!
UMPIRES CLINIC- Saturday
Yup I'm gonna get paid to be at the park. I am going to be an umpire in Whitler on Weds nights! Can't wait! Don't argue with me!!!
SO it decided to DUMP the second I decide to go back to work. And not just alittle work so that MAYBE I could play at the same time. NO...5 days a week landscaping 6:30am-4:30(M-F) and serving sushi Tue, Thur and Sun at 5:30pm.
I eat, sleep, and work. But I'm making killer cash and am seeing some very beautiful gardens in West Vancouver. Amazing views and cool work. So I'm good.
The real world is cool. I'm landscaping full time and serving sushi...all walking distance from my house.
So I live here in Squamish with my mom and it's cool I'm glad to have her here. She is a music teacher and learning how to dowmload music and is enthralled by the diffrent performances of 'Amazing Grace', and I'm listeneing to Faith Hill sing it right now. It is so beautiful that it almost brings me to tears.
Does music ever make you feel like that? My mom reminds me to listen.
