Colonies.com Code Of Conduct

The Colonies Code of Conduct is designed to maintain a fun and safe environment for all of our members. In doing so, you understand and agree that Colonies may review and delete any content, messages, photos, videos, or profiles (collectively, “Content”) that in the sole judgment of Colonies violates this Code of Conduct. In joining the Colonies Network you agree that you will NOT use our products and services to:

• Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that is false, misleading, unlawful, promotes illegal activity, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, gory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

 

• Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).

 

• Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.

 

• Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party.

 

• Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

 

• Display pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind.

 

• Impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Colonies official, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

 

• Intimidate, "stalk" or otherwise harass another.

 

• Harm minors in any way.

 

• Collect or store personal data about other users.

 

• Use or attempt to use another's account, service or system without authorization from Web site, or create a false identity on this website.

You also acknowledge that Colonies does not pre-screen Content, but reserves the right (not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any Content that violates the Code of Conduct or is otherwise objectionable. Incessant uploading of such Content will result in your account and all your content being permanently deleted.

Colonies reserves the right to preserve and disclose Content posted or transmitted via the services provided on our site if reasonably necessary to: enforce the Code of Conduct; comply with a legal process; and protect the rights, property, or personal safety of any party.
