kinda sucks being stuck on the prairie, but i do like living in Fargo, but wish there was a little more terrain close by. i work construction in the summer, so we don't do much in the winter. usually i stay kinda busy with snow removal, but this year... arrgh!
my first lesson was from my sister in Tahoe. she took me to the top of a green run, showed me how to strap in, how to turn and stop, watched me for 20 minutes and said, "Doin' good. See you at 4!" she took off to board with her boyfriend and i tried all day. by noon i was linking a few turns and having a blast!! by 4 i had a bruised tailbone and a hell of a time!! been hooked ever since.
