Hear the cries and see the devastion
Katrina was the news of our nation
8-29-05 took so many lives
when the levee broke the water began to rise
many were afraid they wouldn't survive this natural disater
but here we are one year after rebuildin the spirit of Louisiana
mardi gras on bourbon and crawfish in july
this is all a part of our lives
that we jus can't let die
 
 
this is for all the ppl who where caught in the stuggle of Hurricane Katrina
Keep ya head up and keep going on
